Such nice food and good service we eat here three times on our weeks holiday! The rack.of lamb is recommended and the lemon cheese cake. Quality food and value for money. Booking advised.

The best restaurant in Tavira! Good fresh food, good wines, an excellent staff! I'll miss it every day when i'm not there to eat. I can recomme everyone to go there! Absolutely brilliant!

We had one of our better meals here during our week long stay in Travira. The first time we stopped in they were fully booked and could not take us. We learned that you need a reservation to eat here because it one of the most popular places in town. The portions are large and the prices are very reasonable... More

Service was terrific, food excellent, make a reservation as this is one popular place. Not a place for a quiet relaxed meal. But this may have been a fluke as we only had time to go once. Great options on the menu, and staff worked so hard and really got our food to us hot. We just walked out with... More

Warm white wine and cold Creme Brulee. Starter and main course ok. We had 2 dishes each, prawns as starters and sole and sea bass as main course Food was fine , white wine was warm and no adequate response to our friendly suggestion of getting us chilled wine. Atmosphere was hectic.

We have been holidaying in Tavira for almost 20 years, and always look forward to our dinners at Brisa do Rio. We ate there twice on our most recent holiday, and both times all food was delicious and the wine chosen by Octavio complemented both dinners beautifully. Our second visit was an anniversary so we pre ordered chateaubriand. This was... More

Situated in a cobble street in Tavira, this is a popular restaurant and we had to book a couple of days in advance. Good selection of fish and meat options. Prawns in chilli & garlic for a starter was nice and I had the sea bass fillets for main served in a terracotta casserole dish with bacon and baked new... More

We visited once and had two different fish dishes, Dourada and Sea Bass. Both were excellent, freshly served with potatoes and veggies. But you have to be a little patient as the service was under staffed and slow. If you can live with that - great food!

Thank Thomas M
