Had the grilled sea bass for two as suggested by waiter instead of cataplana. It was good. But nothing typical. House white wine was ok also.

We stupidly came here after the man at the front told us the other restaurant up the road was a Chinese (we looked and no Chinese up there and lots of other restaurants) he also said the place was booked out later so now was...More

Had dinner here and this place is the most expensive in town for very average food. Beer and Wine were double the price of what we paid in other restaurants. Do not get taken in by the arrogant owner whose only motive appears to scalp...More

We had a lovely lunch of Sea Bream here. Good sized fish plus boiled potatoes, vegetables and salad. Cost €28 for two. A large sparkling water was €3.50 and opened at the table. Service was good. This restaurant is slightly out of the way as...More

For lunch we settled for grilled Dorade and chicken. The fish was slightly charred and a triffle salty but still very tasty. Lovely view of the river and the mooring fishing boats

I dont normally write restaurant reviews but this place deserves a review, and it probably deserves its current rating of 193 or 206 restaurants in Tavira. Started off OK the waiter seemed very friendly when walking past, and as it was my daughters night to...More

Worst meal during our vacations. Bad service, lousy food, dirty toilets. They don't care about quality, as there are always new people coming to that place. Tourist trap.

We stopped for the dinner hopefully the waiters were nice and professionals . Thanks to them. For the food is something else, nothing exceptional, no tasty. The kind of restaurants you would find in 1970's Food bad And expensive for that

Is this restaurant still open? I went there about 3 years ago and had the most amazing Seafood Feast (served in a wooden boat !) The seafood was amazing and the lady who served us suggested a different port with each course I visited Tavira again in April (2015) and it was closed ! Or did we go on the wrong day ?

The restaurant is still open. I wouldn't recommend it though. Lousy food, dirty toilets. By far, the worst place we visited during our holidays. They live from clients that only go there once. TOURIST TRAP!!
