The carrot cake is one of the best I have tasted - it is moist and full of flavour. Beats the pies. Had our lunch at the benches outside the bakery before embarking on the cruise.

Grabbed breakfast and lunch for the ferry from here, all tasted great (even if the order was slightly wrong!) I would definitely go back.

Tasty locally made bread and snacks. A very good stop to stock up for a picnic. Good bread also, quite a find in NZ.

Pie pastry a little to doughy and gluggy. Everything else ok. Staff don’t smile as much with new owners but the food is still good.
