What more can I say? We had French Fries and Sandwiches here for lunch. It was very good. Don't order fruit smoothie - is a glass of very sweet juice with an ice cube in it.

This restaurant opens onto a small plaza in Trinidad. We ate there because of its location, near our starting point as new arrivals. My impression was that the staff was doing its best to do a professional job but that they were rather inexperienced. They had trouble figuring out where and when to serve the food. The portions were not... More

We were looking for a place to have our last family dinner in Trinidad and we came across this Wakey Wakey and Shakey Shakey. The people looked friendly and we decided to try it out. We left over two hours later. Edel, the owner, (also known as El Chino) and his team made us feel totally at home. This was... More

We arrived rather late in Trinidad in the busy end of the year period with several restaurants being fully booked. In our search to find something, we found this small restaurant along the way. They serve the basics of the Cuban kitchen (some dishes with pork, chicken, fish and lobster). I took the lobster, getting a large portion of fresh,... More

Arriving late in the evening to Trinidad and not knowing where to dine... There is the restaurant locomundo... for a first time in Trinidad is perfect. You can dine between good music, good flavors always having the sound and the view of one of the most beautiful cities of Cuba

How could we not go into a restaurant with this super cool name! Better still, live music and with only a few tables and guests, quite intimate compared to other nearby tourist venues. The food was good value and quality. The beer was cold and the staff attentive. How many places in the world do you get a complimentary Cuban... More

We stumbled across this little beauty of a restaurant and were greeted by Chai who was the singer on that night. She was so lovely and food sounded amazing so the 4 of us girls went on it. Chino helped us pick some beautiful food and cocktails and it was 10/10. We had a great night hosted by beautiful people!... More

I went into this place to get a bottle of water and saw a local out the back playing claves and singing. I told him I loved Cuban music and we started chatting and I told him I was a musician and so he gave me his claves, grabbed some maracas and we played music together with the young man... More

Only coming for some drinks we also had a very good lunch here. You have to find this restaurant because at our visit there was a market in front. The service was friendly like everywhere in Cuba. And it is true the mojito's are very good here.

I have been here several times. I am not going to say it is great every time. We have had great times and a couple of issues, but I will say the owner is always trying to do well and be there for his customers. The funny thing is the only time there has ever been an issue is when... More
