This place is empty! They had a fire and the building is empty. It appears that they may return one day because their sign is still present. Hope they do, the food was fantastic!

This place is one of my go-to spots in Adams Morgan as I know I'm always going to enjoy whatever I order, though I tend to always order the Dduk bok Gi, a savory stew with gooey rice cakes. My friend slurped down all her...More

Really loved this place - aside from the kimchee being mild, everything else was spectacular. Meat, vegetable, starters, everything was perfectly seasoned and I didn't seem to get a big MSG hit afterward. Living in a Korean-deprived part of the world where every place insists...More

I love Korean food, and I've tried it everywhere I go. I haven't had as good a selection of Korean food as I had a Mandu for years (quite literally since I was in South Korea). The food was fresh, very tasty, served in big...More

Mandu was recommended by a colleague, and we tried the original on 18th street. Smaller menu than the newer one on K street (according to our super helpful waiter), but that didn't stop us from enjoying. Great dumplings, great drinks, but the Dolsot Bibim Bap...More

If you like Korean food, in particular Galbi, then this is the place to go. We will definitely go back next time we are in DC.

When I lived in Washington, DC, Mandu was a neighborhood favorite. I no longer live in DC but traveled there for business in January 2017 and met a friend for dinner at Mandu. I was pleased to see that the restaurant is still delivering great...More

Korean food done right. Had the short ribs which were tasty. I'll go back for these alone. The custard sounds crazy but is quite good with the crunchy potato and other bits added. Loves the soujitinis. Aloe ok but the yoghurt though crazy idea was...More

We always try to eat at Mandu when in D.C. It's an easy walk from Dupont Circle. We love the food--dumplings, soups, noodles, and other wonderful dishes.

It was good but not nearly as flavorful as expected. If you are nervous about trying Korean food this is a good start, but if you want legit Korean food, I'd try somewhere else
