Our office party was last night and we had a traditional family-style italian dinner with 13 courses plus desert! Each course was creative and delicious. The pasta was fresh and pefectly cooked. We particularly enjoyed the squash filled ravioli and excellent wines suggested by John.

Unlike other places in the city that seem to forget the small details, this place doesn't miss a beat. The food is tasty and the wine list very impressive.

We were downtown for a show and decided to walk-in to this restaurant without reservation. The waitress was very pleasant and took time to explained in details the menu as well as the night specials. We ordered the duo pasta and we had rarely tasted such good pasta even in Italy. The portions were just right. I will go back... More

The personnel of this Italian restaurant in central Washington DC is nice and professional. The general atmosphere is very welcoming and sophisticated. Still, out of four dishes I ordered, I only liked one: the insalata di palate dolci was surprisingly enjoyable. The carciofi alla romana, though, the panzototi di zucca and the carrot cake were all either tasteless or not... More

At $38 for a three course dinner with a choice of three plates per course, it can't be beat. The waiter tried to push the truffle option a little too hard. Other than that. One never goes wrong at any of the Knightsbridge restaurants. Always consistent and on point.

What a mistake. Close to the Marriott and wanted Italian. Service, our waitress was nice, but really slow. They were not busy on this Friday evening and now I know why. They apologized for the delay but it wasn't only us it was every other table. All eight or so of them. I'm sure she didn't hear my order because... More

I went here when on a business trip in DC. I chose it because it looked quiet and somewhat upscale. I ordered a pasta dish (the one with clams). For the price, it was disappointing and too salty. I felt that it lacked any real flavour. I ordered the carrot cake for dessert. It was also just average. The wine... More

I had a solo dinner at Bibiana while on business in DC. I was quite disappointed. Started with an heirloom tomato salad in which i was assured that the tomatoes were delicious and fresh. The salad had almost no taste at all. Next, I had what sounded like delicious squid ink pasta with tripe ragu, sausage and mint. I was... More

I have somehow gotten onto the mailing list for Knightsbridge Group restaurants so during the summer Restaurant Week kept getting bombarded by emails urging me to try their many restaurants. In the end went to 3 of them I had not yet been to and Bibiana was the first. We sat right off the bar area as that was where... More

The restaurant entrance is not on New York Ave. Access to this noisy dining establishment is really on H. Our server was excellent and the food and wine superb. We started our meal sharing a selection of 3 cheeses served with a honeycomb, figs and crackers. It was excellent. We asked our server for a reasonably priced dry red wine... More
