We stopped in after visiting the National Archives. It is right behind the Archives and the service was efficient. We had a burger that was really good. The only down side was some inappropriate conversations behind the bar between some employees.

We stop by after visiting the National Gallery of Art. Great location and good food. This place has a lot of TV's. Eat upstairs. The bartender was great.

Stopped here after a long day. Had 3 boys aged 10 and up and myself. Good comfort food. Nachos were not good as the appetizer. But I had the Ruben and home made fries and craft beer on tap and it was perfect. Sat outside in the heated enclosed patio. Was just a little chilly at the end, but the... More

Went to Penn Quarter to see a BBall game and have lunch. Good food and many TVs all in one place! Two-story. We sat upstairs. This place is small but artfully arranged for a crowd. We had a Burger and a salad and beer on tap. Excellent service! They made sure the game we wanted to see was on where... More

It's a sports bar so don't expect peace and quiet. I haven't seen as many tv's in one place. Added to which each is showing a different channel. The food is large. Good selection of beers and not unreasonably priced.

Went to watch playoff football. Great tvs and friendly service. Food was fair but there was there was a putrid smell like a backed up toilet that kept coming on the first floor.

We were in DC for a Redskins game and spent an evening here watching college football and had great time. The bar wasn't too busy but had a nice chilled vibe of people enjoying sports. The setup is great with the number of TV's and how compact the room is, there are no bad spots to watch the game from.... More

My inclination is to give this place 5 stars only to counter some of the lower ratings. But, I will give it what it deserves which is a solid 4.4 (it IS a sports bar, after all). I'll start with the negative and mention that they do not have dessert. We thought the waitress was kidding as we'd never been... More

In from Buffalo to visit kids, we needed a place to watch the Bills game. Our first visit to Quarter, and we were really blown away with all the tvs..30 +. Any sports you want to watch is probably already on at least one. Our waitress Bria was good and attentive, pub grub food decent, beer selection not extensive but... More

We were looking for some place to watch Sunday night football and get good food. We definitely found it in Penn Quarter Sports Tavern. Lots of televisions that are easy to see and hear. The Homemade Guacamole was excellent and the Jambalaya was even better. This is a must visit location while in Washington DC. Lots of fun and excellent... More
