We had been in a number of louder restaurants and in constant meetings so we were happy to find the peace and quiet of Regent Thai. The restaurant was not crowded for a Friday late lunch and the server was very pleasant. The food was quick and tasty, reasonably priced. I would eat here again.

Best Seafood Pad Thai I have ever had. It had several large shrimp, scallops, as well as mussles and calamari. Absolutely delicious, huge portion. We got there right when it opened at 5PM on a Friday and had a nice table at the window (we were too hot to dine outside) where we relaxed and enjoyed a shrimp wrap hor... More

We tried this restaurant based on the reviews and were not disappointed. When we were there for lunch on a weekday, there were a total of 6 people. We ordered from the $10.00 lunch menu which included a cup of vegetable soup and a spring roll. The vegetable had quite a bit of vegetables as opposed to simply a broth... More

We have eaten here twice. The first time we had the panang chicken and the drunken noodles. These two dishes are marked as spicy on the menu, but there was very little spice. The second time, we ordered another spicy chicken dish and requested spicy. My mouth was on fire! But, there was lots of heat and little flavor. We... More

My husband and I have eaten at many Thai eateries over the years, including across Thailand itself. While in Washington we found ourselves craving Thai and found this place not far from our accommodation. The food hit the spot. We had chicken satay to start, Sweet Basil beef and a Penang chicken curry. Everything was delicious, albeit a little spicy... More

Appetizers were ok without being fantastic, a soup and minced shrimp fried in batter, the sweet chili sauce being the best part (comes in a bottle). We had bap tai, chicken and seafood, as main courses. Bland is an understatement, seafood was boiled, no salt, no sauce, no flavour. Chicken was the same. We called the waitress, who could barely... That was a lovely restaurant. We went party of 4 and everyone enjoyed their dishes. I tried the Cashew Chicken which I enjoyed; it came also with small vegetable soup which was simple soup with surprising flavors, felt like they make their own stock from fresh ingredients so I absolutely loved it. I also had the spring roll which was... More

The food was up to the standard of a decent Thai restaurant but the service definitely lacked panache. The staff did not appear happy to be there and did not engage.

Nice little restaurant. A bit hidden away, I walked past it twice before finding the entrance. Not very busy on the night I was there, but food was above average and service was excellent. Green curry was quite good, with just the right amount of spice.
