Good place right near museums for coffee and pastries plus light bites. Some people were having business meetings/working there, so tables were a little tricky to come by. Free wifi.

My friend and I liked their coffee and pistachio croissants so much that we ate there three days in a row. They have a good selection of French pastries and great coffee, as well as several breakfast options with the eggs and such. Right by...More

I was over the moon to locate a Paul when we decided to come to D.C. for the 4th of July. Whenever I'm in London, Paul is my go-to for coffee and pastries. The selection was a little different than when in the U.K., my...More

Paul's is a gem for coffee and pastries. And they have a killer Salade Nicoise. BUT this morning's venture into breakfast was extremely disappointing. For a breakfast that cost over $10.00 I expected much more. First, I ordered an omelette which arrived more like a...More

We went to Paul to try some French macaroons and we were overwhelmed with the choices and how delicious everything seemed!! I had the egg, ham, and cheese croissant and two large macaroons (vanilla and pistachio) and everything was fabulous! Each macaroon was $5.45 which...More

This was a fun and classy little place to have lunch on a nice day, especially if you can get a table outside. The coffee bar was good as was the desserts. I found my baguette a bit hard to bite through and so did...More

We enjoyed the atmosphere and food at Paul. Right behind the National Archives and close to the Mall, it's a nice break from touring. We sat in lovely velvet chairs, listening to French music, enjoying the view of flowers and old buildings outside. Along with...More

This place looks so appealing. From the sign lettering to the wrought iron and mirrored decor, it looks like one can spend a little while here pretending to be in Paris. They have sidewalk tables for nice weather and cozy-looking chairs and curtains indoors for...More

Food is always good but no menus available ans few diversity of bread, sweets and food comparing to Sawgrass, Fl, where I live. The space is small and my family of 4 and my parents-in-law couldn't sit in one table. No services to clean the...More
