We come to Paul every time we're in DC, and I have to say, we love this place. We keep trying different sandwiches and deserts, and everything is so good. The kids even love the different kinds of bread loaves. Highly recommended if you're close...More

Paul - I'd look it as a more upscale version of Starbucks - bakes great food, pastries and of course good hot beverages, with nice seating.

Paul is a famous bakery from the North of France, where I'm from. I couldn't resist to try it in DC. I can tell that it's not the real french bakery I know, but I enjoyed a good chocolate croissant and a nice gourmandise with...More

We bought a bunch of pastries and a baguette for the next day. Everything was still pretty fresh and good. I would go back.

Service at Paul's is efficient and pleasant. The coffee is excellent and a wide varieties of bread and pastries are available. Indoor seating is available. Tables are small, but sufficient.

Delicious bakery items. My daughter and I had a Palmier and macaroons. Perfect. Tea and coffee made it a perfect mid afternoon snack.

A French cafe style breakfast in DC was required, and Paul’s met the challenge. All kinds of fresh pastries and morning goodies made on site. They are excellent. The bonus is they are mostly available in small (mini) sizes as well. The quiche was excellent,...More

I was visiting the wonderfully impressive (and probably under-appreciated) Navy Memorial (close to the "National Archives" building on Pennsylvania Avenue), around lunchtime on a good-weather day, and thought I might enjoy having a Coffee, sitting in such pleasant surroundings, so I headed for this fairly...More
