Loved the hotdogs here, but they are now closed. Great way to feed a visiting family on the cheap. I believe owned by same company as Teds Bulletin, which they are more invested in. And is mighty good.

Loved the many choices for topping. The specialty dogs looked great. They lightly warm the bun on the grill so everything is fresh and warm.

In the middle of a thriving neighbourhood, with lots of places to choose from, DC-3 stands out as the best place for a quick meal before continuing the walk through the city. Great buns, dogs and service!

DC3 is has an airplane theme from the 40s, which makes this a different hot dog place. Their buns are unique, almost square. I find it hard to pay $5 for a hotdog when street vendors sell them for $1.50 & Eastern Mkt for $2. Yet, the latter don't offer the variety DC3 does, including a hotdog w/a California food... More

It is good but not that hot dog. I ordered a wrapped bacon hot dog. They just fried a bacon slice and put on the top of my dog. It was ok.

My wife and kids and I ate here during out Spring Break visit to DC. We stayed near the Eastern Market Metro station so this was walking distance. The dogs were good and there was good variety. They give you a lot of fries so you should maybe try ordering a bit less than you might normally. Though this was... More

We were there at an odd hour (3pm) I guess as the place was empty. So we had the place all to ourselves!! The server was great. Running through all the options with us and very accommodating. this place was listed in Time Out Washington so we had to try it. Glad to say that they were rightfully listed! Hotdogs... More

I discovered DC-3 when I worked on Capitol Hill. It's a great place to get a quick lunch. The hot dogs and fried pickles are delicious!

Just down the street from the Eastern Market Metro station, Eat DC-3 was very easy to get to, even with an 8 yr old and 6 yr old in tow after a long day of sightseeing. They had lots of creative specialty dogs (the Philly was fantastic), but you can also order your own custom hot dog for your picky... More

It was the last day in DC before my sons left to go back to their mom's in Arkansas. We took a stroll through Capitol Hill. I had googled best dog in DC, and so we hit up DC-3. The interior is decorated in a diner motif with planes everywhere. It is a nice place to take kids or would... More
