It's a small place, just a two sided bar with stools in the basement. It doesn't look open from the street. Locals know better - there was a long line by 6 PM both week nights I was there (I had to try twice because...More

I am not an expert on ramen, and as a vegetarian (although I will eat chicken broth), I know that I am missing out on a lot of potential ramens, but Sakuramen is the best I have ever had. Whenever I am in DC I...More

This is a very casual place, with a pretty average service. However, the line at the entrance should tell you there something good in there. The Korean-inspiration ramen was the best ramen I ever had. I can still remember the taste very well and my...More

The food was excellent and it arrived really fast. Really good option for a cold weather and it is in a really pretty area of D.C.

Coworker and I went to this place based off of reviews and you will not be disappointed. It is in the basement of a building and it looks very unbecoming when you look at the restaurant but looks are deceiving. I’ve had Ramen all over...More

Tasty ramen in a fun atmosphere. Be prepared for a wait, but it's worthwhile. Kim chi makes a great side dish to spice things up.

My son and his wife rave about this place and make the 40 minute drive into D.C. Twice a month to eat here. This was my first trip but certainly won't be my last. The ramen itself was worth the trip from Dallas, TX. I...More

Came here with a group of friends (3). If you've never been here before, you have to let one of the workers know that you're waiting for a table. He doesn't write down names but somehow he remembers it all and sits people accordingly. He's...More

Myself, wife and daughter stopped in for some ramen. Loved it! I had MisoDC, with loads of Berkshire pork belly, and we shared bulgolgi steamed buns that were super tasty. Happy staff, happy customers. All good.

This restaurant was great. The place is small so get there early or make a reservation or plan to wait but it is worth it. The ramen is so amazing and the staff was very friendly.

We don't have a separate gluten free menu, but we are happy to customize any bowl and minimize gluten content by substituting with rice and avoiding soy marinated toppings. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Our sole focus is to create the best ramen on the planet, without using artificial flavorings of any kind, sourced from pure bone broth coupled with the freshest ingredients available. We do not favor any particular style or cultural influence when it comes to our ramen dishes. With an unbridled approach to culinary creativity, we strive to deliver a unique dining experience that highlights a fusion of diverse flavors from across the globe. From ramen houses in Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Seoul, to Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York, we are pleased to see that others love ramen as much as we do… and so we are especially proud to open our doors in Washington DC, in the heart of a city we love to call home.Thank you for the opportunity to serve. Humbly Yours…~ Jay & Jonathan ~
