Good food, good taste and good portion. I got biftec de palomilla with congri rice and tostones, and the taste was excellent, tge only thing is that I was expecting a thicker meat cut, the biftwcs were too thin. The other thing is that being small place it should improve their ventilation (air extraction or circulation), a strong food odor was... More

You know when you find one of those places that is so good and so special that you fear popularity will ruin it? This is one of those places. A cute little space, with amazing food at a very reasonable price. Authentic Cuban food, freshly prepared and nicely presented. Warm attentive service. I just hope it stays this good!

This restaurant was simply amazing, the food was superb, the ambiance was inviting. The employees were kind, amicable and happy. We had Picadillo the flavor was delicious and authentic, my friend had Pollo criollo, It was fantastic, I would like to see the bathrooms re-done and better kept, but beside that the place is a hidden Gem of flavor waiting... One of the few Cuban restaurants in the DC area and it's a total hidden gem. The service is friendly and maybe a little slow sometimes, but no complaints. The food is amazing! All the right flavors, super authentic, just as good as the Cuban restaurants in Miami! Love the Vaca Frita and their empanadas. Healthy portions and cheap prices!... More

This was my first taste of cuban food and I liked it a lot. The vegetarian sandwich I got would have benefited from salt - either from the cook or from the table. Sadly, no salt shaker was there. On my next visit I got the fried vegetables - sour, delicious and very different from anything else I'd eaten before.... More

I've been coming here since the food was nearly half price, but it's still very affordable. I always have the churrasco when I come with rice, black beans, and plantains and it comes out perfect everytime! Staff is always nice and it's a snug narrow restaurant but I tend to find the last table when I come or get here... More

We got takeout. The restaurant itself is not much more than a hole in the wall. The food is amazing. I love the basics, rice and beans, sweet plantains, ropa vieja .... Very good prices for the quality.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in DC. The food is pretty authentic and delicious. I highly recommend Ropa vieja and lechon with fried yucca and plantains. Both dishes are awesome. Good service and great value for money.
