We were told this was a "must eat" place when we visited DC, and apparently everyone else got the same memo. We walked in and it was a 2 hour wait for dinner; we made reservations for a different night later in our trip. Highly...More

Ate lunch here after a tour of The White House. The bar looked old school and inviting but this was a family lunch so didn't belly up to the bar today. The waiter was old school too, dressed in a bow tie. Great saloon atmosphere....More

We stopped in here after a White House tour. It was great for lunch. They had healthy options which is what I always opt for. I had the harvest grains salad and loved it. You can add chicken, salmon or shrimp to it but I...More

Since we heard so much about Old Ebbitt we arrived before 5pm on a Friday evening, without a reservation and were seated right away. The menu touted several wines that were critiqued very highly. We inquired about several white second runner ups and after a...More

Went for lunch, the decor just feels and looks like the history the grill has if not always in the same location. The food and service were excellent. Two of our party loved the oysters. We can attest to the hamburger & the French dip....More
