Very upscale, food was good but not exceptional. Pianist played softly when we went on a Saturday night. Reservations necessary, it was very crowded but they also have outdoor seating. For true Indian food we would go elsewhere.

We visited Bombay Club last week during our trip to DC and it was one of the best meals of the whole trip - and one of the best Indian meals I've had in a long time. I went for the chicken makhni and a...More

We hadn't been back to the Bombay Club for a few years, and you always worry about whether a very fine establishment can continue to deliver the goods. Have no fear about the Bombay Club. It remains superb in all respects; food, service, bar, quiet...More

Enjoyed Bombay Club on visit last week to D.C. The crispy spinach rocked, as did the vegetarian Thali. Service was excellent, in a quiet, refined atmosphere

Had a great lunch on Friday afternoon at The Bombay Club. Inside has a hushed atmosphere with "clubby" wood-panelled walls. Two of us had the Tandoori Chicken--so delicious, done to perfection and not too dry. Our third person had the coconut curry shrimp, which was...More

The four of us had a wonderful time during our Restaurant Week visit. The restaurant is beautiful inside and has an elegant feel. It's dark enough that no one feels compelled to take pictures of their food, which is a nice change of pace. The...More

Not really, although it would be nice not to arrive in gym clothes. Diners wear clothes that reflect a wide variety, from ethnic wear from India, to smart casual, and business attire. Enjoy!
