Love this place. I have been going there since 1987. The staff is better than anywhere else in DC. Food is great (have the potato soup). Guinness, Whiskey and live music every night. Don't miss this DC gem.

If you enjoy Irish food and drinks, this is a must. It has the feel of an authentic Irish pub, with live music nightly. I highly recommend the Shepherds Pie, which was the best I have ever had. As expected they poor Guinness properly, and have just about every Irish whiskey made. Additionally, they have their own Auld Dubliner Amber... More

I enjoyed my dinner here of Shepard's pie and a pumpkin tart with pumpkin ice cream dessert - both were very good. Service was good and they have a very good draft beer selection. TVs in the bar for sports and at around 8 pm a solo guitarist ayes some Irish tunes.

We stopped in for some dinner with my brothers and nephews. There were six of us and they got us seated fairly quickly. The service was fine and the beer was cold. The mixed drinks were OK, but nothing to write home about. The real issue was the food. The burgers were OK, but the other food we ordered was... More

I ate here for convenience because I stayed at the Phoenix Park hotel. The food quality was okay. We ordered chicken pot pie and fish & chips. The servings were huge. Price was fair given serving size & location. Service was mixed, some staff were nice & others acted like they didn't want to be there. It's a good bar... More

I loved the Dubiner when I lived in DC in the 80's and 90's and had to stop in on a recent visit back east. It's an exceptional place in every way, but especially for the service. I'll always drop in every time I'm in town.

This was my second time here. Once, sitting outside was pleasant enough. However, today's service and dinner were just "meh". The host's welcome to this solo diner was lacking and nonchalant. My server was more interested in the NFL playoff game on the TV. I, unfortunately, did not have the benefit of live music but rather recorded innocuous American soft... More

Thoroughly recommend dining here. Close proximity to Union Station including accommodation such as The George & Hyatt on Capitol Hill. Traditional menu, reasonably priced meals. Attentive staff & took time to chat. Will go again when staying in DC.

The service in this pub is literally outrageous, on 2 different occasions, with different waitresses, we were very unhappy with the service. The second time though (Saturday evening), it was even worse: the waitresses were more busy chatting amongst themselves than actually waiting tables. At the end, we waited 20 minutes for the bill, the waitress was not acknowledging us... More

Nice Irish Pub, was a hotel guests and tried it out of convenience and was not disappointed! The menu was varied with both Irish and American favorites. There was live Irish music / entertainment. Service 2as great as well!
