Back again and not disappointed, food and drinks were great. Busy place, so book in advance. Very good service and good winelist. Pizza, meat, seafood and most things you could expect. Go there!

Dining al fresco in October in DC is a wonderful experience at Cafe Milano's small outside garden space, the place to spend an evening with friends. Delicious pasta, risotto and wonderful seabass.

Service is horrible . Food is mc Donald's . Bar was full off on call girls :) Overrated place . I thought it was a place where people show off . I think law enforcement should watch the place for prostitution . :)

I was treated to Cafe Milano by a co-worker. The restaurant had a nice ambiance to it, in regards to lighting, and overall decor. However the restaurant seemed to be a chaotic. There were way to many people milling about standing around the tables. I...More

Recipes can create a lure to a restaurant. At Cafe Milano slight recipe twists take the dish to a higher level.

We had a wonderful meal at Cafe Milano. The food was exceptional - scallops and sea bream was the special for the night and it was fantastic. The wine list was first class, if not a bit pricey. The atmosphere was rocking and there was...More

I'm not shy about paying for great food or great atmosphere, but this location featured neither. Our table for two was in a cramped back corner with an overzealous air vent and miserable acoustics for any level of conversation. The service was average at best....More

After a shaky start (table not ready, suggested we go to the bar, but there was no room and overall a 15 minute wait hanging around the entrance--not a great look) things picked up on the service front. Staff were attentive and things were efficient....More

I would say smart casual. There are always men and women in suits...I would not wear jeans to go to Caffe' Milano but you will not be turned away for wearing them.

Guests savor genuine Southern Coastal Italian cuisine in a setting reminiscent of a stylish Milan boutique. Framed designer scarves adorn the walls in a creative and colorful homage to Italian fashion. The ceiling gives way to coves of hand-painted murals celebrating Italian culture, including the stunning portrait of famed opera singer, Placido Domingo, in the room named in his honor. During warm-weather months, the front wall of floor-to-ceiling windows open onto an outdoor sidewalk patio, adding a touch of Northern Italy to the Georgetown streetscape, creating one of the most sought after dining spots in Washington. Since owner Franco Nuschese blazed onto the DC dining scene over twenty years ago, Cafe Milano has been a power center for diplomats, politicians, journalists, broadcasters, lobbyists, entertainers, and all who enjoy fine Italian food and gracious attentive service.
