3.5 really overall. Don't dwell too much on their terrible website. Old Glory is a pretty decent meat feast smokehouse barbecue wotsit when any main will share nicely between two and a mix of main plates makes a good meal. The burgers are said to be very good, but it wasn't the right time. I can recommend the wet brisket... More

Had lunch here today and my pulled pork was more than 50% fat! The sauces were still yummy, but that is the only positive. My fries were also dripping in oil! There are so many good restaurants in Georgetown, pick another!

The second time my family and I are here, we were seated next to the kitchen. During our meal, a cockroach climbed up the wall next to us--not an indicator of cleanliness. I won't be eating here again.

I found food very very tasty specially the wet brisket!!! I took the sandwich and friends took the plate.. beers were good but expansive..in conclusion ibwould suggest it. The girl at the table was a bit rude so that's why no 5 stars..but we understood that was becouse they left her alone...kindness always pay though!!!

I did enter with low expectation for finding decent BBQ in D.C. so I wasn't too disappointed by the poor BBQ but the fact that Old Glory couldn't master dessert sort of took the cake. Maybe going to Commissary ruined my dessert experience for the weekend. This place just didn't do it for me. One of my co-workers was carded... More

I had an extremely unpleasant experience in this place. I order a beer and showed my ID (from a foreign country). The manager came to my table and started asking me questions about me that were written in there, When I tried to explain to him where to find my birth date, he said I was lying and told me... More

Hi MarcioCunhaFilho, I'm sorry to hear that you had a poor experience recently with your ID. Unfortunately, DC liquor laws are extremely strict, and the only foreign ID that we are legally allowed to accept is a passport. While do try to validate other foreign ID's, if we are unclear on any information on those, we are legally required to... More

Been here before...maybe 10 times over 20 years. Food is going downhill, prices up up up. Had a reservation tonight, but they sat me by the door.....cold, despite all kinds of available seats in further. Came for the brisket, and they are out? Really? Still love the cornbread muffins.

We came here for lunch, sharing BBQ ribs and a combo platter with pulled pork, slow cooked chicken thighs and brisket. The kids (8 and 11) had their own kids meal to choose from and opted for mac and cheese, and sliders, with fries. The corn bread/mini muffins were to die for! All in all, we were extremely satisfied!

Had the half rack of ribs that was pretty good - good flavour and very tender, but I felt that the portion size was a bit small for the price. Great selection of beers. Excellent service and I didn't have to wait for my food. Good atmosphere.

My boyfriend and I went for lunch on a Sunday. Our server was really nice and knowledgeable about the food. We are very satisfied with the server. On the other hand, the food was over cooked, the ribs, to be more specific. It felt like we were eating charcoal. The chicken wasn't fresh ether. We might come back to try... More

Of all of our "native" food, barbecue is uniquely, authentically and gloriously All-American. Old Glory, located on historic M Street in Georgetown, captures the food, flavor and feel of the great barbecue restaurants of the United States, and offers representations of each styles of barbecue served in different parts of the country. "It looks like a rib joint, sounds like a rib joint and smells like one...most important, of course, the kitchen smokes fine barbecue," says the Washington Post.

The huge barbecue pit, the open kitchen, and the 1901 Silver Dollar Four Winds hand-crafted bar, create lively, exciting atmosphere that is downright down-home.
