An eclectic restaurant with high ceiling, large chandeliers and interesting murals serving mainly fish, many with a Mediterranean flavour, pastas abound. Good range of wines and beers. Efficient service, friendly servers.

We had a wonderful dinner served by Roy. He was very knowledgeable in telling us about the menu. Two had grouper, one red snapper and finally tuna. All we’re wonderful. The French fried leeks were fantastic!

During a vacation our family ate here. The food and service were outstanding! The server made excellent recommendations for dinner and for wine selection. The atmosphere was nice, but casual. Great for dining after a day of business or when on vacation.

Certainly a variety of choices at fairly reasonable prices. My husband had a favorite, mussels, which were "OK but not great." My shrimp scampi was heavy on the garlic, not so heavy on the shrimp.

Thanks for the review. Is there anything we could do to make the mussels better? As for the scampi, we have a measured number of shrimp per the recipe that goes into the entree so I apologize for that.

Colton was our waiter. Excellent and quick service. Very accommodating and eager. Food was great and reasonably priced for quality. Bacon wrapped scallops were superb as well as all else 👍👍. Highly recommended

Our first night in Washington DC and we wanted a place close to the hotel. Grillfish was recommended and we thought we’d try it out. My husband got a cup of the clam chowder which was wonderful, not thick and tasteless like it frequently seems...More

Had lunch at Grillfish on New Hampshire Avenue last week. The grilled Mahi sandwich was delicious. Iced tea was great, too. Most importantly, Maya, my waitress, was attentive, without hovering. She really made the visit restful and pleasant. Excellent experience at a great price!

The food was awful. Everything including the soup was saturated in olive oil. Avoid. Small servings of seafood with buckets of spinach and oil.More

Thanks for taking the time to write a review. I do apologize you didn't like your dining choices when you joined us. Did the server offer to replace your apps/entrees? We don't like guests to not enjoy their meals and always want to make it...More

We came in here for dinner. They asked if we had reservations. Nope. They accommodated us in the bar. Nice server I had Seafood Diavola & hubby had Ravioli's. Both very good

Took a group from a conference here due to the high reviews and we were not disappointed. It has a neighborhood restaurant vibe with great seafood. They have a "seafood-friendly" wine list that did not lead us wrong. We started with a dozen fresh and...More
