Had not been back for many years and decided to try this restaurant again. The tournedo was tasteless and fries dry and hard. Considering the high price very disappointed and will not return. There are many more fantastic restaurants to choose from.

One of the few places that I would recommend for a DC resident as it has consistent standard of Bistro food and efficient Gallic service. Its also possibly the noisiest boîte in the city but its a great place to take visitors as it has...More

It had been years since we had been there and so when we were in the area for an art exhibit, we had to go. I couldn't wait to have my favorite mussels and fries aka moules-frites! I had Moules Marinières and my husband had...More

This bistro located just above Dupont Circle offers typical French Bistro fare. The place is pricey for the quality of the food and service. Not much else on that side of the block, so there is little alternative for lunch or dinner.

My wife had the Normandy Mussels and I had the Hangar Steak. Both were good, but the mussels were particularly enjoyable. We spilt a molten chocolate cake; it was pretty typical. The service got off to a bad start when our server decided to save...More

Bistrot du Coin opened its doors on Memorial Day of 2000 by Yannis Felix and Michel Verdon. The motto is French, Fun and Friendly, this is our guideline to bring you the best experience ever at Bistrot Du Coin. The word Bistrot is defined in French as a neighborhood restaurant where you can eat good food at a fair price. The typical color of a French Bistrot is pale yellow to brown (otherwise known as Bistre) because the walls used to get dirty quickly from nicotine. Bistrot Du Coin is also known for its parties, three times a year to celebrate famous French events such as Bastille day on July 14th, The Beaujolais Nouveau on the third thursday of November or The New Year's Eve.
