Salad was fabulous, steak delicious. The service was very slow and hard to get help. The bread was ok.

I recently ate here for lunch. When I entered the restaurant, I was immediately greeted and seated at a table. The waiter was very nice and when I asked about the wine, he recommended a wine based on my taste (he asked me). He brought me out 2 different types that I had chosen to try without me having to... We got there at 8 pm on a saturday. We could not get a reservation because the place was packed. Luckily, we only had to wait 15 min for a table for 3. Noise was at the fun level and people seems to be enjoying. One of our party has been there before and recommended the mussels which they have... More

I have been eating at this restaurant for a few years now. I think I've eaten here at least a dozen times. The food is consistently from very good to excellent. I especially enjoy the mussel dishes on the menu. I have tried most of them but the house mussel dish is my favorite. Steaks are consistently prepared to your... More

In spite of a packed house on a very busy weekend, the staff eagerly accommodated our large party and provided excellent service. We tried several different dishes and everything we delicious and prepared to perfection. This will definitely be on our list of dining destinations during our next visit to DC!

We were able to walk in and get the table that we have had in the past. Our server was helpful in suggestions and friendly with our four children ages 4-8. This is a must when we come to the DC area. We even had a little Foosball time with a member of the staff. Thanks for always making it... More

Bistrot du Coin has the ambiance of a neighborhood place, but the food of a very good French neighborhood place. Great selection of sauces, decent wine list, knowlegable but unintrusive wait-staff. Reasonable prices, especially for DC.

My brother lives in D.C. and he wanted to take us to this place because he loves it so much. I was very impressed. Very authentic, but not too fancy. Bistrot du Coin has a relaxed feel to it. We enjoyed the escargot, steak frites and the mini ravioli with duck con fit, gizzards and mushrooms. Very tasty. Highly recommended.... More

Bistrot du Coin is a slice of Paris in the heart of DC. It is the kind of place where you will feel welcome and will want to return. Service and food here are excellent. Highly recommend any of the steak choices. They do offer reservations and if you are unable to get one during the weekend, try to get... More

The restaurant is a fantastic representation of French food. The choice of dishes are incredible. From the bouchée à la reine to the lapin à la moutarde, everything was fantastic. I truly recommend this restaurant for a night out with friends or with your family.

Description
Bistrot du Coin opened its doors on Memorial Day of 2000 by Yannis Felix and Michel Verdon. The motto is French, Fun and Friendly, this is our guideline to bring you the best experience ever at Bistrot Du Coin. The word Bistrot is defined in French as a neighborhood restaurant where you can eat good food at a fair price. The typical color of a French Bistrot is pale yellow to brown (otherwise known as Bistre) because the walls used to get dirty quickly from nicotine. Bistrot Du Coin is also known for its parties, three times a year to celebrate famous French events such as Bastille day on July 14th, The Beaujolais Nouveau on the third thursday of November or The New Year's Eve.
