Express lunch is excellent and quick. Had the penna alla panna and Caesar salad. Fresh pasta and salad. Good choices for children menu that does not include typical kids meals when you want something healthy. Tiramisu is out of this world and made in the house. This is a must stop for great Italian lunch!!

Although it looks small from the outside, the restaurant is fairly large and has several floors. The menu is typical Italian, the food was fine and we found the prices to be relatively inexpensive.

My wife and I were directed to this place after some last minute shopping during our tour of Georgetown. Despite being severely underdressed, we were welcomed in and given a very nice table by a window. The interior is lovely and simple. The menu offers many traditional offerings which, based upon our picks, are done to perfection. Even living in... More

We made reservations on open table. Very good meal, but portion sizes were small. Not for the hearty eater.

Very good pasta. We had a reservation for 9 people and were going to be late but I called and they had no problem extending our reservation. We had four hungry kids and they devoured everything. Would have been more adventurous if we had more time and less children with us. Service was very courteous and patient with spills, etc.... More

Walking the streets of Georgetown with my wife, this charming piccolo restaurant caught our eye. Great kitchen, excellent Chianti and putstanding service made for a great lunch. We were delighted and I'll come back next time I'm in DC. This is the type of place you'd love somebody told you about when planning your trip. Highly recommended!

On the whole, this is a good local choice. Italian inspired food that is fresh and delicious. Wine menu is overpriced. Otherwise, this place is worth a visit.

Had a great lunch there on a beautiful sunny day and got to sit out on the balcony. The man who served me was (I think) the manager, he wasn't in uniform, but in a nice suit. Great service, wonderful food and drink, lovely balcony. I ordered the chicken marsala, but I think I accidently got the veal marsala instead.... More

We came here with family friends who were also visiting DC. The food was solid, good flavors, right temperature and attentive/friendly staff. We ordered some of the specials: Pollo Paillard and Sicilian Spaghetti as well as other items off the regular menu. Only complaint was that it took a little while to get our food, but other than that I... More

I took my family to this wonderful warm and accommodating restaurant and was so impressed by their service and quality. My daughter asked for one of their pasta dishes to be made with a sauce that wasn't featured on the menu and they made it perfectly and with a smile. Great ambience, service and food. Check out their fantastic house... More
