This is one of my fav lunch spots. I recommend the mussels and braised kale with apple and bacon. I suggest the bar stools or a high table for the privacy and the service. Betsy - one of the waitresses - is a shining star...More

I had a business meeting here for breakfast and it was incredibly convenient as I needed to be at union station afterwards. It was about a 3 minute walk. Located adjacent to the Hotel George there were a number of breakfast options.

We had a group dinner for 8 people and ordered a variety of appetizers, entrees and desserts. Everyone was delighted with their selections. Service was friendly and attentive and the food was well prepared.

Looking for a venue for family Thanksgiving dinner without leftovers, selected Bistro Bis based upon a prior excellent Easter dinner experience. Thanksgiving is one of those traditional meals where slabs of turkey and gravy with bread stuffing spilling over the veggies to remind you of...More

Was there for lunch with a very good friend. We got an isolated table and service was great; Food excellent. A good mix of traditional and revisited french / Mediterranean food.

So this had great reviews and the restaurant looks amazing. In the end I gave it an average as the food was all perfectly presented but it was just a little missing on flavour. I had the onion soup and the beef bourguignon. It was...More

I am always shocked at the attire of most tourists in our nation's capital. Please do not wear shorts, tank tops, t-shirts, sandals, baseball caps or leggings. Just don't do it.
