This was a fun place to dine. Service was very good, attentive and very helpful. The crab cakes were excellent as was the grilled calamari. Not an extensive wine list but the choices were good choices. Terrific cocktail list. I would return.

I cannot say that my soft-shell crab was extraordinary, but it was very good, as was the spoon bread and the wine. The best part about the evening was that my friends and I could have a perfect reunion dinner and talk in normal voices....More

A friend and I sat inside but next to the opened window, with a gorgeous view of the sunset. We got into an existential conversation with the hostess - an artist - that I will never forget (she is a beautiful soul). The waiter recommended...More

I take my seafood seriously having grown up on Cape Cod and done my share of clamming and fishing. Johnny's chefs do fresh seasonal fish and bivalves with consistent visual flair and impeccable taste. This time four forks shared halibut, crab, scallops, and strawberry shortcake....More

I do not think they would deny service to one dressed in shorts. However, the clientele are mostly those who have business on the Hill, who are dressed in suites. Also, Washington DC does tend to be city that favors... More
