The food was great. The ambience very french chic and the service was really good. Keep in mind, the place is rather small so might feel a little too full at times but it's perfectly fine. My husband never had French brunch before and he can't wait to go back

Lovely authentic French restaurant within walking distance of the National Zoo. Funky hip street with lots of restaurants and shops to walk through. Try the crepes or eggs Benedict. Cozy atmosphere inside and outside seating offered. Loved it!

Excellent French food at a reasonable price. We went on a Saturday night and the restaurant was surprisingly uncrowded. The atmosphere is casual, there are a few regulars, but we felt immediately at home. Service was prompt and friendly. We shared a salad to start, a bottle of very good red wine, rainbow trout and rack of lamb as mains,... More

We had a pleasant lunch here and greatly enjoyed the food. The various prix-fixe menus offered some excellent options. My spouse was delighted to see veal tongue on the menu, and our friend enjoyed her flat-iron steak. Service was very cordial. Don't miss the creme-brulée!

I was in town on business and visit this quaint French restaurant. I felt like I was in France – the ambiance music, the food, the service. I have glazed duck. It was so tasty. I will return if back in the area again.

This is a delightful, intimate French restaurant in the Adams Morgan area of DC. I had delicious salmon and the chef made a scrumptious sauce that was gluten free. We also had a pate appetizer. My husband was very pleased with his wine and his fish with salsa. The service was perfect. We will be back!

This small restaurant is not a trend setter. In fact, it has been here since the late seventies and, as I vaguely recall, has had the same or similar menu, decor and ambiance since then. While the restaurant is not as convenient for me to visit now that I no longer live in Adams Morgan, I do visit every year... More

La Fourchette has been around forever, and for good reason: the traditional bistro food, the pleasant atmosphere, and the attentive service. I've been here many times and have never been disappointed; try the chef's specials and seasonal offerings, and make sure to say hello to the owners!

I had a great time dining at La Fourchette, a typical French restaurant managed by a French couple. The food was a decent bistro cuisine and the owner, Jacqueline, was wonderful to talk to. The restaurant was pretty busy on a Friday night.
