Two Amys has been part of the D.C. Restaurant scene for some time, so we were pleased to see, on our first-time visit, that there's a reason for the long lines at dinner. The potato and prosciutto croquettes were savory and crisp, and our Etna and Norcia pizzas were excellent. The main dining room seemed fairly noisy at dinner time,... More

I loved the interior of Two Amys, and although I'm not a huge fan of their style of pizza, it was still quite tasty. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed. The server wasn't the greatest which spoiled the meal a bit, but I would give it another try.

This restaurant prepares very good pizzas, with high quality ingredients. I am Italian, obviously I love pizza and I am really happy everytime I find a good one out of my country. We were two: we ordered one pizza (with mozzarella, tomato, ricotta and ham) and one stuffed pizza (calzone!), a glass of wine and a beer. We paid 62... More

After our Washington monuments walking tour, our guide Tim, recommended 2Amys pizza for lunch to us and our friends. 2Amys features Neapolitan style pizza. My wife and I shared a Santa Brigida pizza with pancetta and the orange, red onion, and olive salad. We were surprised that there was no lettuce in the salad, but it was a unique and... More

I visit D.C. frequently and I always make a special point to eat at 2Amys in Northwest DC. The pizza is excellent, Neapolitan style with fresh toppings and a great wood-fired crust. Service is good and there is a full bar in the back of the restaurant. It gets crowded on weekends but it is worth the wait. There is... More

If you've never tried Neapolitan-style pizza before but don't want to fly to Italy to do so, this might be the best place to start. My personal favorite is their margherita pizza, although the classic 2amys is always a safe choice. All pizzas are medium-sized and surprisingly light, so you should be able to eat a whole plate by yourself.

Compared to other gourmet pizza places this is overrated and overpriced I think the wait time is not adequately supported by what they have to offer on the menu

Wow! This pizza is SO GOOD! If you are looking for classic, chewy-crust, wood-fired, bufala mozzarella pizza in upper northwest DC, look no further: this is the place for you. They serve terrific pies as well as tons of other good stuff in a hip and hustling dining room just off of Wisconsin Avenue in the tony McClean Gardens/Catherdral Heights... More

I LOVED this place! A very family friendly restaurant. I took 2 clients for dinner while I was staying in Georgetown and Two Amys is where we landed. For appetizers, we ordered potato frittata, bruschetta, oven roast olives, a large plate of shaved meats and cheeses and for dinner we order various personal pizzas. Everything we ordered was phenomenal! I... More
