A must visit if staying in Georgetown. Really nice pub food and service - and great history. We sat in the booth where JFK proposed to Jackie. Comfortable and friendly. Would recommend.

What a fun dinner. We sat in the Lyndon Johnson booth and appreciated the quieter location. Great service (server took the time to explain and answer questions). Wonderful beet salad. And while not for all - the best calves liver and onions. Took me back...More

I dined here twice during a 4 day stay at The Georgetown Inn. The tables are reserved or commemorated for politicians and the atmosphere is conducive for secret meetings. The food is outstanding and that's high praise since I am from New Orleans

Stopped in after finding myself in the neighborhood at lunch. I sat at the bar. The service was prompt. The food was very good, as I remembered it. I prefer Martin’s to some of its phony competition, like Clyde’s.

Food was great, had the better Eggs Florentine ever... Waiters very attentive and nice. Warm and cozy restaurant full of history. Good value.

The sadness is that the food here is not very good any more. Worse, it's become expensive, if not by the standards of Washington's tonier places but for what it offers. Comfort food should not cost this much. Martin's used to be the best tavern...More

I believe children are welcome here but it is more of a college bar and grill atmosphere.

At Martin's Tavern, every sitting president from Truman to G.W. Bush has dined. Ask your server to point out the booth where JFK proposed to Jackie.
