The mixta paella was incredible. Probably one of the best I have ever had and wine selection was good. Atmosphere was nice but service was not great. I would highly recommend eating here and will add to list every time I visit D.C.

The restaurant had good buzz, yet quiet enough to hear a conversation. Good selection of tapas at reasonable prices. Nice wine selection and prompt service. We will go back the next time in DC.

We enjoy tapas and paella, so on our trip to Washington we were happy to see La Tasca was located near our hotel. The food was good, plentiful and presented nicely. We had two tapas to start and the mixed paella. However, the food was bland and lacked the flavors we expected. The Sangria was very good, but a few... More

We stopped by here in the middle of the day so it was not very busy. They have a selection of sangria, about 5 to 6 different flavors, on hand. I tried two of them and would have tried more but i can only drink so much. Anyway, we had the sangria and a small plate of meats and cheeses,... More

I've been to La Tasca several times and in general, I enjoy their food and selection of sangria, though I think it's a bit pricey. I went there last weekend, excited for happy hour, which their website stated they have everyday; however when I arrived I was told that they no longer have happy hour on the weekends. I was... Went with a large group of friends for bottomless sangria brunch! It was one of the best brunch places I've been to in D.C. Great atmosphere, great choice of tapas (for all types of eaters), and they really didn't hold back on the bottomless sangria.

We were unfamiliar with "Spanish tapas", but our kids had discovered this place on their last visit to DC. The small plate idea is fun if you need to get out of your comfort zone and try new things. I had a little difficulty understanding what I was eating (and when it came to the Octopus, I am glad I... More

Went there on a Tuesday evening and was seated immediately. We ordered the Pan a la Cantana, Albonigas de Cordero,Paella Mixta, Pulpo la Gallega, Canelones de la Huerta for dinner. They were very delicious especially Canelones de la Huerta and the cheese. The dessert de Luca sponge cake was very rich and help end the meal well. Be forewarned the... More

There are definitely better tapas places in DC, like Barcelona. Service was bad. The food was good and they had a good wine menu though, and the location is excellent.

The food was good. I was in a party of about 40 people. We had two long tables. One of the tables left about a half hour earlier than the second table. At the end of the night after we received our food bills another bill came for ALL OF THE DRINKS FOR THE ENTIRE party. The bill was huge... More
