Austrian fare, in Georgetown, DC., hidden in Cadys Alley - with an all day coffee and drinks bar. An outdoor chic little patio complemented by a water-fountain. Brunch is amazing, and includes Avocado Toast and handcrafted brunch drinks. Must visit place!

I was a little concerned about eating dessert here because the desserts look so fancy, I was sure they wouldn't taste that great. Boy, was I wrong! Everything here is excellent! The Napolean had the best cream I’ve ever tasted and there was this amazing...More

Met two friends for a relaxing lunch. Plenty of choices for all sorts of diets and palates. I ate a delicious soup and salad, and wished I could return for dinner.

We have been traveling for a few weeks in the US and have generally enjoyed the service provided in most places....that was until we encountered this place. From the hostess who was just straight-out rude to the disinterested and slapdash staff - the service was...More

We were 4 for dinner; each of us ordered something different, and all of it was good. As one would expect of an Austrian restaurant, the desserts were the highlight. They included elegant pastries such as you might find in Vienna, ice cream and sherbet...More

Ordered a delicious melange and an order of scrambled eggs. The server was great and she gave me some advice as to where to go while in DC. This Kafé is located in Georgetown, which is a beautiful district in DC. I would say is...More

We managed to walk down a short brick-paved alley and stumbled across this cute cafe with a charming outdoor area. We had to have lunch there! Very crowded but we strolled through Georgetown waiting for the text to indicate our table was ready. The atmosphere...More

No - they don't take them, but we went on a Sunday about noon and had only a ten minute wait.

Forget all the cliches about heavy Austrian fare served by waiters in lederhosen. Leopold is about as Euro trendy as it gets, with an all-day coffee and drinks bar, an architecturally hip dining space, and a chic little patio complete with a minifountain. Food is pared-down Mitteleuropean: mushroom tart, crisp schnitzel paired with peppery greens, an endive salad with mustard dressing. In the middle of a design-obsessed alley just off of M Street, the cafe draws an artsy city crowd that's content to sit and watch the scene evolve, just as it's done in Europe. Brunch is a particularly popular setting for such people-watching manna, and the neat-as-a-pin breakfast is available daily until 4 pm. The perfect oasis for breakfast, lunch, dinner or anything in between. They have a very respectable wine list that compliment all the dinner specials. Reservations are taken for dinner only, starting at 5pm.
