We dined here on Saturday, arrived a bit before 5, so sat at bar until dinner service began. BEST DECISION EVER!!

The food was good and the prices were commensurately high. The following day I checked my tab and realized that I had overpaid. Four of us had ordered the pre-theater fixed price multi-course dinner. We should not have been charged for the desserts because they...More
We sat at the bar for drinks before dinner. They could not make a chocolate martini so I had an espresso martini. It did not sit with me too well and by the time we were seated for dinner I was not feeling great. We...More
Great location overlooking the river in Georgetown.
Great food, great service, and a sommelier who really knows her Italian whites.
Only complaint - called to make a dinner reservation, and was told there was no availability. Dropped in that evening, because I was passing, and...More
We reserved the front private room for a 9 person business lunch and everything was perfect. The service could not have been better. We had 3 salad, entree, and dessert choices and all 9 were fabulous. Particularly noteworthy was the branzino fish selection which everyone...More
We had lunch and were able to sit outside even though it was mid October. The outside seating area was very nice with the view over the river. The food was also very nice but there was nothing about it that generated the wow feeling...More
This is by all accounts a good restaurant. But the fixe prix Thanksgiving dinner was: too much food, food that from the entrée to desert that was overly fussy and sweet...even the dressing. Do try the restaurant but avoid the holiday meals.

We had dinner here with a group of friends on a Saturday evening. The place was packed. Nonetheless, we were seated promptly and our server was there immediately. The wine list is extensive, although on the expensive side. Actually, the food is expensive too! A...More
I'd say weekday lunch is more casual and no tie or jacket required, though definitely upscale casual is good and my companion had a jacket (not tie). Haven't had dinner here. On the terrace I saw a bit morecasual. I... More
I'd say weekday lunch is more casual and no tie or jacket required, though definitely upscale casual is good and my companion had a jacket (not tie). Haven't had dinner here. On the terrace I saw a bit morecasual. I suspect summer is more casual than winter. I found Fiola Mare a bit more relaxed than Fiola (I have had the pleasure to eat at both). Fiola is downtown and more business oriented. Both places are great for special occasions. Fiola Mare has a view of the river and neat, tropical feel with ceiling fans in warmer weather. Bar is a good option if you don't mind eating on a stool but the upside is there is a lesser priced bar menu. Take your pick. Great place is the bottom line!
