I had lunch here on my trip to Washington. The food was something totally new experience for a Swedish tourist. I have never eaten anything like this before. I had Fried Green Tomatoes for starter and Louisiana Seafood Gumbo as entree. Really good food.

Four of us shared many dishes and were happy with all of them especially the oysters. Actually started off with a Sazarac which put us right into New Orleans mode. We have all been to many places in NOLA and found Acadiana's food a match...More

Try to go during slower times, not a holiday or Valintine. I noticed a drop off on those days. Otherwise Deep rich good old down home dishes.

Owned that gumbo and the chef special (blackened flounder). Fried green tomatoes were delicious. I loved the atmosphere.

Very pretty restaurant with nice decor. A little noisy because of several large groups who were sitting close to us. The gumbo and oysters were delicious. Our sever Garrick Lumsden was very professional and helpful.

Blackened talapia was awesome. Best friend is 'shrimp n grits' fanatic; not happy with the 'grit cake' (grits should b smooth & creamy). Nice deviled eggs (3 ways). Good mimosas. Fried green tomatoes were good, but thin. Will return for dinner.

This is a lovely bright large restaurant with a really spacious lively feel. It specializes in Cajun cooking and the food is excellent. I had the crab cake for an appetizer which was slightly tangy and had a slight smoky taste from lovely smoked bacon....More

I had never tried creole food so was excited to give it a go. I started with trio of pies more like empanadas, delicious. Followed with the seafood gumbo which was also delicious. No chance of finishing as it's quite large, but was so tasty...More

We usually go before noon. It starts to get crowded after that. Sit away from the band also.

Acadiana offers the flavors, culture and the warmth of the seductive southern region. They offer the perfect balance of the old and new...taking advantage of the rich bounty found in the Mississippi Delta, Bayous and the Gulf of Mexico.
