After a trip to New Orleans two weeks ago, I couldn't have been happier to find Acadiana. Food as good as the Big Easy just 20 minutes away. The gumbo, the shrimp and grits, the barbecue shrimp... even the biscuits... made this the perfect meal to kick aside my bayou blues. And the whiskey menu was a great surprise. Oh,... More

This restaurant is a contemporary Lousiana-style fish house, with live Jazz. We went during restaurant week, which made it all the more enjoyable. I started out with the Chicken and Andouille Sausage Gumbo for an appetizer. For the entrée, I had the Fried Catfish with crawfish fried rice étouffée. For dessert I had the bananas foster crème brûlée. The wait... More

This place really delivers! Amazing menu, excellent service, stunning decor and extraordinary ambiance! There really isn't much else to say other than if you're in D.C. make time to eat here.

Another fantastic experience. Acadiana is one of my favorite restaurants in DC and my go-to place to take out of town visitors. The food is delicious and the bourbon list is one of the best in the city. The house cocktails are also unique and superb. I recommend the Basil Belle. After you order your drink, the first delight arrives.... More

Went here for the first time on a Sunday for my birthday, There was a live Jazz band and they were great. On Sunday a pri fix menu is offered. You can choose from the 29.00 meal or the 39.00 meal. Each meal comes with an appetizer an entree and desert. I had the banana french toast for an appetizer,... More

Great atmosphere and very good food. Service was excellent and helpful with ordering. A little on the higher price side but the food was excellent. Portions were much more than expected.

Honestly Great place. Had veal and grits and seafood gumbo. Both amazing. Tried the pie trio appetizer very good as well. The biscuits and cheese/kinda like duck sauce-honey sauce mixture is amazing. Lastly the Creme brûlée banana fosters was great as well but I feel a regular creme brûlée would be better. The waitress was awesome yet as a tourist... More

We had dinner reservations for 15 here the evening of the Inauguration. The food was hot and delicious and the service unobtrusive and prompt. The Convention Center where the official Inaugural Ball is just behind the restaurant so it was fascinating to watch as bus after bus dropped off people in tuxes, gowns and furs. My blackened snapper was cooked... More

Part of the Passion Food Hospitality Group this restaurant is located a block from the Convention Center in the district. It's billed as a Louisiana Fish House under the direction of Executive Chef Brant Teskey. We sat in the bar area (which is very well stocked) and ordered several small dishes to share. The char grilled oysters reminded me of... More

We had reservations for 3 on a Monday evening at 8 pm. Across the three meals, two were great, one of okay. The service was great and the atmosphere was nice. It was easy to converse with others at the table.
