We're sent here by locals. Food is interesting and fresh but not prepared traditionally. We're big Thai fans and not one of the dishes seemed traditional. Nice staff and atmosphere though.

My dining companion orders Pad Si Ew in every Thai restaurant we visit. And we visit many Thai restaurants because it is a favorite cuisine. Pad Si Ew here is sweeter, saltier and inferior to that served at Beau Thai Shaw.

Decent Thai food, but nothing outstanding- indeed a bit disappointing given the multitude of Thai restaurants in DC nice area of the city and certainly not bad food, just Average

We walked to this restaurant from our hotel and sat outside on this mild night under the stars. After flying in from Texas it was refreshing to sit outside and enjoy our dinner. I enjoyed my mixed veggie with chicken and shrimp; I asked for added veggies and ginger. The taste was perfect and healthy. Other people in the party... More

Here as I write. Refused a seating next to a bucket trapping dripping ceiling water, even tho the place was empty. Tom yum was greasy, yes greasy. Pad Thai was mediocre, and that is pushing it. Service was inattentive, at best, and rushed. Decor is okay, this place has potential, just can the cooks and management.

Quality of food was average, although I would not say it tastes authentic. The restaurant was in a hip area of town, with trendy decoration. If you drive, there is parking along the road or at car park in next building.

Thai food that is hard to find in most Thai restaurants. Authentic heat levels which they adjust to your taste. Nice outside dining area

I was in town for a conference and overall I love the area. Love the atmosphere and weather. My co-workers and I had dinner at Mai Thai the last night in DC. The service was slow but it was not an exception since we also had the same experience everywhere else. Dinner took an average of 2-2 1/2 hours from... More

Poor service from start to finish. The dinner took 3+ hours! Our 7:30 reservations were honored; the restaurant was not too crowded. It took 20 minutes for the waiter to come over and take our drink orders, and he would not take our dinner or appetizer orders at that time, even though we wanted to give it. It took another...
