Such a fun place and environment, with art, music, and poetry on certain nights. The vegetarian options are GREAT - love their tofu options. Affordable.

This place has such a cool vibe, and the patio area is perfect for dining and people watching. We came here twice on our visit because I really enjoyed the food. I had the falafel pita and tubulah, and on the second visit, a hamburger....More

We’d been in Cuba for a week and hadn’t had too many salads so I ordered one of the salads on the extensive menu. It was delicious. Service was great as was the cappuccino.

This wasn't in the original plan, but I'm so glad we ended up stopping here! The table of non-vegans shared a plate of vegan nachos and got approval all around. The sweet potato fries were also delicious! I loved the vibe of this place mostly,...More

Always good food and a great atmosphere. Great mimosas and the pricing is more than fair. We always have to visit them when we are in DC.

I love Busboys and Poets. The environment is nice.... a place to read, grab a beer, wait for friends have dinner and maybe take in some live entertainment. The books are intellectually stimulating and the food is good. The selection is bountiful.

A good friend took us to lunch at this place when I was in town for a singing contest. Glad to see more than one vegan offering to choose from, and I was happy with the sandwich I got.

Grits may be but not sure about shrimp as they are served with a sauce that may contain flour. However they do have other GF choices.

Definitely call, but so many gluten free choices No on the reservations but wait was not horrible at 8:30 on a Friday night. Maybe 20 minutes. And you can get a drink at the bar or browser the books.
