Great anniversary meal. Food was awesome. Atmosphere is perfect. In season vegetables and local proteins are featured.

This is an upscale restaurant that you would go to for a special occasion. The menu changes based on the seasons. A type of Farm to Table menu. Friendly staff.

Food was good, service was excellent. Small portions for the price. We had steak tartare as an appetizer which is hard to find and it was superb. Warm bread in abundance. Would visit again.

Dinner was excellent. Service was great. The view when dining on the porch is gorgeous. We both had signature drinks, they Curry-osity and the Summertime Blues. Both were great but We shared a second summertime blues since we enjoyed it the most. I had the...More

Their food is exquisite. Delicious consistently. This is more of a fine dining experience on beautiful Lake Martin and reservations are a must - and you better book weeks ahead for dinner because it fills up quickly!

Springhouse staff provided the best service we've had in quite a while! Alex exuded Southern hospitality in her attentiveness and friendliness. She immediately brought us an unexpected treat of peppadews (tiny pimiento cheese stuffed sweet peppers), which compelled us to order more! Our entrees of...More

Perhaps it is because it was Easter Sunday. Our reservation was for 1:30. The server advised us that they were already out of at least 3 of the menu items. My husband does not eat eggs, so he had even less choices. We finally both...More

By far, Springhouse is best restaurant in Central Alabama. Chef Rob McDaniel had created a true destination dining experience. The setting is breathtaking, facility is world class and the food and service exceed five star standards. Just creates a great memory by dining here! Don't...More

Rising out of the hilltop, the 200-seat SpringHouse Restaurant will treat diners to a local cuisine served in rustic, casual elegance. The first architectural element guests will see as they enter the main dining room is the inglenook-a large fully-functional walk-in fireplace, which served as the center of the home in medieval times. At SpringHouse, the inglenook serves as a hot appetizer station during dining hours and a classroom during the day. As they pass the inglenook guests will notice handsome bars, rough-hewn beams, hand-forged ironwork, and a magnificent open kitchen, replete with a wood-fired oven and grill. The upstairs bar and dining area will focus on small plates and provide adults a place to relax and gather. Patios with working fireplaces flank the main dining room and upstairs bar. For special events, guests are invited to reserve the Well House-a private 12-seat dining room connected to the restaurant by an underground tunnel.
