Considering there are not a lot of Mexican food places to eat in Apache Junction, this is usually the first place I'd choose. The food is tasty, not too spicy, not too bland. I usually get fajitas, so can't comment on too many other dishes. The bar is small, but pours big drinks!

We dropped in for lunch and found a vibrant restaurant filled with locals enjoying the food and relaxed ambiance. One helpful waitress, pleasant and well informed, hustled between customers to serve promptly and with a smile. We ordered a chile relleno, pork tamale and carne asada taco, along with a full order of guacamole. Chips and some really good salsa... More

The food at la casita was delicious and authentic. I ordered enchiladas banderas and they were so good and unlike anything I've ordered elsewhere.

Great Food, Good Margaritas , Friendly Service (sometimes a little slow, when busy). Try the Guac and chips, nachos, tacos.

Well worth the visit. The food was tasty and priced well. There was an option for a la carte staples which were just enough. Everyone was incredibly nice.

I don't usually go out for dinner alone, but I had a mean craving for Mexican Food that neither Taco Bell or Filliberto's was going to satisfy. I was there at an odd hour, so it's hard to judge what the service is normally like when they are busy. The food was hot, plentiful, and reasonably priced. Might have been... More

We ate there for lunch after a hike! Excellent taco salad. The salsa was one of the best I've had! Service was friendly and very efficient. We will definitely be back and recommend to friends!

Reasonably priced, tasty Mexican food. OK service. Food comes fast. There seems to be quite a turnover of waitstaff, so we never see the same person from visit to visit. We prefer a lunch or mid-afternoon meal more than dinner; that's when the bar section got a little loud, making conversation difficult.

The menu had most anything you'd want for Mexican food. My friend loved the chile relleno and I had taco salad. The pulled pork I chose for the taco salad was quite tasty. Prices were good, service okay, and rather tight near the front if you need to wait for a table. I'll go back another time!
