Local Sushi is Good!

I have lived in Acton for over 20 years and Miso Sushi has been here for a lot of those years now. I have noticed the ownership seems to have changed but I have not verified that. The rolls here are very good and the sushi pieces are fresh ( but small) so overall I would say to have a sushi bar in such a small town is well worth not having the larger portions I get in Santa Clarita ( another sushi bar).

good all you can eat specials

Good if you like all you can eat....Only deal in town but not bad! The lunch bento box is a good deal as well. Sometimes they close for lunch so call first.

Sushi in Acton

We like sushi and it's nice not to have to go to Palmdale or Santa Clarita for it. The sushi chef is sometimes overwhelmed, but doesn't get frazzled - just keeps making the rolls, bowls, and sushi.

Best food in Acton!!

I am vegan, hubby is not. Both of us have plenty of delicious options here, expertly prepared and courteously served. The place is small and cozy, clean and friendly. The tofu steak is amazing, as are the tempura veggies and the vegetable bibimpap. Great veggie sushi too, but I like a hot dinner. Portions are generous - we both always have plenty to take home. This place is not what you’d expect in Acton and has no “curb appeal” - making it a true diamond in the rough. Good adult drinks. Maximum stars!

Not too bright

We had a good dinner with friends the server was not too good we asked for separate checks for our party of four the server put it all on our credit card then took our friends card. When we got the credit card bill there was no credit called many times and the manager was "always stepping out" the ultimate insult was that she blocked our phone. This for 37$ and future business and ultimately I had my credit card company dispute the charge so she didn't get her lousy 37$ anyway.., like I said not too bright

Surprising find in a Small out of the way town.

This was a very surprising and enjoyable little sushi restaurant in Acton, California that is just an almost missed town. The sushi was very fresh and the Sushi Chef very friendly and helpful. We ordered handrolls with very little rice as we can't eat a lot of rice due to diabetes and he was excellent in helping with our request. Food was delightful and delicious!

Just a quick dinner on a Tuesday evening amazing sushi customer service outstanding- we are in town at the Rv park Soledad canyon thousands trails sushi miso is a pleasant surprise!!! Try it you'll like it !!!!

Fresh Sushi in a Small Town

I wasn't sure what to expect out of a sushi restaurant in a rural town. Would the fish be fresh? Would the staff understand the customer's prior experiences in larger cities and could they meet or even exceed those expectations. My first surprise came when I walked through the doors to meet a few old friends for dinner and some laughs. The place was packed, seriously. Where did all these people come from? Simple. Locals as well as some from the larger cities from both the north and south. We were greeted promptly by a smiling hostess who seated us in a comfortable booth while suggesting some Japanese beers or other ethnic drinks. We settled on a few Saporos and dove into the diverse menu. Not what I was expecting at all. The choices we made along with a few selections the waiter offered were prepared with care and delivered to our table in reasonable time considering the amount of hungry people that were already there. I summation I give Miso Sushi in my wonderful hometown of Acton a Big Thumbs Up!

Quick lunch stop!

I've driven by this restaurant many times and finally had time to stop and eat. I had the teriyaki bento lunch special. The chicken was fantastic! Miso soup and the California roll that came with the lunch was also great! I will stop again when in the area. Easy on and off the 14. Can't go wrong with this restaurant.

Very good food! Great Service. Sal is a great sushi chef. Their food is so good and they have good portion sizes. The feel of the resteraunt is great, I really love the place I recommend!

Really great staff and good food

I popped in here really not expecting much. My server was super friendly and nice. He really did a good job. The food was pretty tasty and fresh. The had plum wine which was a nice treat. Place was clean and the staff was on it. I would come here again for sure.

Good Sushi for Acton

Any decent food place in Acton is welcome. This place serves average to good sushi. I am surprised they have lasted so long in Acton, not known for it's residents high culinary standards.
