We were in my friend's old stomping ground and always wanted to try this place. Not to leave any stone unturned, we stopped here for a mid-afternoon Sunday lunch. We ordered salt pepper calamari string beans and avocado imperial spring roll. The latter was like a roll within a roll. Right enough salt and pepper used for the other appetizer.... More

I lived in Alameda for many years and this was one of my favorite restaurants. I was visiting in June and July and I had a few occasions to revisit my old haunt and it is still wonderful. I was able to introduce it to some of my local friends as well. The service is good to excellent. Even though... More

Went with a friend and had a very good meal. Service was excellent and dessert beautiful. Tofu with green beans on garlic noodles was a fantastic choice. Shaking beef (filet mignon) was excellent. Fried ice cream presented on a plate with strawberries was essentially cream in a perfectly finished puff pastry. Not in the least greasy. Already planning our next... More

One of restaurants with nice and yummy Vietnamese food. Had been here for a business lunch. Enjoyed the excellent lunch menu. We ordered some coke and it tasted awful but the food was yummy and nice.

This place seems to do a good business even though the dishes are nothing special and are a bit overpriced. There is better Vietnamese food to be found in Alameda and Oakland.

We shared yummy jicama rolls, brown rice mixture with forbidden black rice, fresh veggie stir fry, and another great dish. The Mint Leaf has only 14 tables, and because the food is prepared fresh, I didn't think the wait time was too long even though they were very busy this Friday night.

My wife and I stopped in here for a quick lunch, had a pretty good experience. It was a small, busy restaurant. The food was pretty good, and the server was attentive. Wish they took American Express :/

Lousy experience. Worst Alameda restaurant by far for 2014. Not a good fit for older adults just go kids. Very low selection of beverages too. Not sure they know how to hanfle patrons even after 3 visits. Try another for good service and better quality food and drink.

Had 2 lunches here during my visit to our west coast offices at the Marina Village Parkway. I am no expert on Vietnamese food but the dishes I had were very tasty. I had the Pad Thai and Vegetable medley and was very satisfied by both. I had fresh spring rolls which were very good and the Thai ice tea... More

Very average somewhat bland food. I ordered the lemon grass chicken. Nothing stood out. Won't be back.
