We love to eat breakfast at the Red Apple Café when we visit family in the Aptos area. It's our favorite "go-to" place when we don't feel like cooking breakfast. It can be crowded at times, but it's always been worth the wait. The option of outdoor seating is very nice when the weather is pleasant.

This is a Must! Family owned and run. Ask for Dan or Gracia they are always there. Excellent choices of home made pastries omelets French toast and the like but also macadamia encrusted mahi mahi my favorite! Fresh salads and wine/beer as well! Quick seating in or out on sunny patio. Service outstanding! Right off highway one on the way... More

Long wait times, indifferent servers, and your food arrives cold. Why is this place still in business? I try it every couple of years, but nothing changes.

Food came quickly with efficient and friendly service. Everything was served hot. Cute homey decor. Definitely recommend this as a breakfast place. Will return.

Can't miss no matter whether it's an omelette, potato egg dish, pancakes, waffles, French toast or any number of Mexican specialties besides huevos rancheros. Fresh orange juice, fresh fruit, fresh daily muffins besides any traditional breakfast you might have a hankering for. Good coffee too. Always enjoy a breakfast here when we are in Aptos or Santa Cruz. Definitely worth... More

We were searching for a breakfast place on a busy weekend and stumbled upon the Red Apple Cafe. Came on a Sunday about 11am and got right in. It is a small place with two room, counter and an outdoor section which seats a lot more. Staff was friendly and helpful. Had a Portuguese sausage scramble that cam with potatoes... More

Breakfast menu has lots of options, specialty coffee is delicious, it is busy, always a good sign, if the locals are willing to wait! Offers outside dining. Service is great, food is delicious!

We come here frequently, but I particularly like their breakfast. They have very friendly servers who are always give great service. It's family owned, so it has a nice feeling to the cafe. There's outside seating as well as a side room if you have a little group. They have a nice menu for lunch and they close mid day.... More

Wanting a pleasant family atmosphere, this Aptos-classic restaurant didn't disappoint. The food is not fast, ready-made stuff, but made to order and plentiful in taste & quantity. We dined outside under the gazebo with our dog by our side. They brought water for all, including our dog.
