I've lived in Arcata for 32 years and have been to Los Bagels hundreds of times over the years. It is an Arcata institution and in an enjoyable and family friendly place to get a quick breakfast or lunch. I appreciate that they have diversified their menu over the years. They also have a good selection of toppings available. All... More

Bagels are amazing. Had Pea Soup on a rainy day and it was perfect! Ginersnap cookies are delicious. Staff is super friendly and attentive.

They make their own bagels here. I had a with their guacamole. I've been trying to recreate the guacamole ever since but to no avail, and there was so much of it that I had a hard time getting it all down. I might even come back to the area just for their guacamole.

I love going to Los Bagels! Every time I walk in, the people are extremely nice and very efficient. They have lots of seating indoors and outdoors. For the people who are gluten free, they have bagels for them too! The place is family friendly and has great food! The only "flaw" is there bathroom isn't the greatest. Other than... More

As an East Coast native raised on NY water bagels I'm rather fussy when it comes to bagels and Los Bagels passes the test. I live about 2 hours away from the shop so I usually will buy a half dozen or so and take them home and freeze them.

If you are from the east coast avoid this place. Their bagels are okay and freshly made, but if you want that classic NYC bagel look else where. They are flat, un-filling but at least tasty.

Los Bagels shop and bakery has two locations, Arcata and Eureka, CA. Their bagels are also available in certain local markets. They have gluten-free bagels. Pick up a jar of "Slug Slime," a great bagel seasoning for gifts or your own use. The seasoning's name reflects the Banana Slugs so prevalent in Redwood Country/ Humboldt County. As the owner is of... Good dense chewy bagels that aren't like anything you'll get at a store or any other bagel place I've tried. Slug slime (toasted seeds, onion and garlic) is good on all sorts of stuff. Jalapeño bagels are surprisingly satisfying. Huge selection of toppings are fun but can get pricey quickly. I'm a content regular.

Delicious and you definitly get your money's worth! If you get there early enough you get any bagel you want and if your meal takes a lobg time to make they make up for that wait :)

A friend recommended I try Los Bagels, so I made my way to downtown Arcata and Los Bagels. I was not disappointed! For $10 I selected a multi grain bagel heaped with lox, onions, capers and cream cheese, plus a mid roast coffee. Delicious! Bakery items looked delicious as well, though I was too full to try anything else. (Next... More
