My teenagers turned me on to this little place. Great place to fill up their bottomless tummies! My husband and I share a sandwich and it stuffs us.

When you order a sandwich at Hole in the Wall, be prepared for a huge sandwich! They can be a bit pricey but when you consider it is a sandwich for two...or will make two meals...it is worth it. The muffeletta sandwich had a very tasty olive spread that really made the sandwich yummy.

Sandwich is not bad but the owner CAN NOT take a critics, I was joking with my friend about tasteless chicken, the owner heard it and give me the dirtiest look ever which I don't really care but I lost my appetite

We found this restaurant by searching on Yelp for a place to eat while passing through Arcata on our way to the Avenue of the Giants. The sandwiches were huge. One sandwich could be shared by two people. It really is a hole in the wall and there is no indoor seating. There are a couple benches and tables out... More

Sandwiches are huge and made with care. Staff were amazing and on pace during a demanding lunch rush. Everything was fresh and delicious.

We recently went to this hole in the wall and I must say I felt quite overcharged for what food we were actually handed. The service was slow which was fine since they are in a tiny location. My sandwich was cold (and it is specifically supposed to be warm chicken on it) and $4 for a kids pb&j is... More

This is my favorite place to go get sandwiches! There are a couple of picnic tables, but this is mostly a to go place. Just make sure you have cash!

These are good sandwiches, no doubt about it but there is nothing special about them and they are not worth the money. Save money and make an amazing sandwich at home.

Description
Established in 1983, we have been serving award winning sandwiches for 27 years. Local products including 7 breads and 12 cheeses, freshly sliced daily to make custom sandwiches right before your eyes. Still the best after all these years. A local favorite is the fresh Dungeness Crab sandwich on Fridays only, call ahead, they sell out quickly. Fast, friendly, courteous service...don't let the line scare you away. Big enough to share one with a friend.
