We have always loved eating at this café. The staff is great as is the food and their prices. We love the homemade bread and many other homemade menu items. If in Alamosa you must treat yourself to a great meal at this café.

Very small and cute diner/cafe. The staff was very friendly and gave you a feeling of being welcome. The food was good and fairly inexpensive, which is rare now a days. I was there for breakfast and was very satisfied.

Arrived early to have breakfast and beat the Sunday AM church crowd. My wife had always raved about this local place since she grew up there and attended the old local high school and college near to where it is located. It was already somewhat crowded and we were directed to find our own seating which we did. The waitress... More

Very small cafe, was able to get in and get a table, but not one person greeted us, or helped us within 10 minutes of sitting down. No menu's given to us to look at while waiting or anything. I can't tell you how the food was because we got up and left. I would not recommend or go back.

This is a real diner. Same location since 1947. Bright and friendly place. The locals eat here. Very reasonable prices. We were surprised at the size of the cinnamon roll. If that was all we ordered, the two of us would not have been able to finish it, but we took the rest of it on the road and it... More

Great place for breakfast. Unless you are there early, expect a wait (this place is very popular with the locals). Basic breakfast menu at good prices. Their cinnamon rolls are the best I have ever had and can easily serve as a breakfast for four (yes - they are that big). Nice atmosphere and very friendly staff - but be... More

Rolled in on a Sunday at about 10 am to find a decently busy, but not packed restaurant. Despite this, we were able to find an open table right away (which was still dirty and full of plates). After waiting about 15 minutes, the waitress finally came over to take drink orders. Waited another 10 minutes for her to clear... More

Looked at reviews, and they didn't fail. Definitely a local favorite. Everyone knew everyone in the place. Great breakfast and inexpensive. Didn't disappoint.
