Fillet mignon is really good and tasty, truffle fries are delicious. Location is nice and well known from everyone who was in Aspen, although for European is extremely loud. They could improve this by dividing the big room in 2 smaller ones

Had dinner here 2 nights ago with my wife and son. Unfortunately we were seated at a table between 2 very loud tables making conversation nearly impossible. I had the Jimmy's meatloaf which was as good as always - I recommend this dish. Wine list is somewhat ridiculous in price but I managed to find a reasonably priced Napa Valley... More

I went with three friends, the place was packed, a good atmosphere and the servers were on it so you didn't have to wait very long. Prices are quite high but this is Aspen so what can you expect ? Definitely worth a visit as the place has a good mix of locals and tourists.

The restaurant is very comfortable and well appointed. However, it is too dark to read the menu! The steak and the meatloaf were excellent. However, the other choices were lacking. The duck was cooked to a gray state and the fish dish had only a miniscule amount of fish. It was mostly vegetables, so I would consider it extremely overpriced.... More

We popped in here out of he cold - and what a great place to fall across! The bar staff were super friendly, took our coats and set us up with some great wine advice and a cool bar menu. We shared sliders which were delicious and the biggest fish tacos I've ever had. They come in 3's and I... More

My husband and I came here for drinks and sat at the bar. The bartenders were all friendly and very entertaining to watch. It did get pretty crowded in the bar area. We could quickly tell it was a place for people who actually live in Aspen, lots of upper class people.

We dinner with 9 people including 3 teenagers. Our server was unable to properly take our order and continually gave us the wrong items for our appetizers. When I mentioned it, they brought the correct dish, but charged us for all the mistakes. Trying to find a manager to rectify this was like a Laurel and Hardy act. It was... More

Since 1997, Jimmy's has been Aspen's neighborhood restaurant and bar, the kind of comfortable restaurant where you can dine again and again. Ask any local, and you will hear that Jimmy's is an "Aspen Institution." The menu has something for everyone, from the fresh-squeezed margaritas and the "locally-priced" bar menu to the famous crab cakes, USDA prime steaks, and fresh fish. "The menu is designed to feature the finest in American cuisine without being pretentious, served in an energetic atmosphere," says proprietor (and local) Jimmy Yeager. The energy at Jimmy's is what really draws a crowd; the bar is nearly always jam-packed and the dining room lively with activity and a mix of interesting people. The welcoming staff provide the best in top-notch hospitality. Jimmy's is "home" for a large community of locals and tourists alike.
