We truly enjoyed our sleigh ride and dinner. I wish we would have gone on the earlier trip because it was dark so we could not see much on our sleigh ride. The stars were beautiful though for sure. The service was very good at dinner and by the cowboys on the sleighs. The food was good but not great.

During the winter you can only drive so far up Castle Creek Road, then you have to hike, cross country, sleigh, or whatever else you can think of to get there. Summer you can drive right up, or biking is a good way to earn your calories. Views on the way no matter how you get there are beautiful. Food... More

An incredible place for a great family meal. The setting is the best in Aspen -- panoramic mountain views. The service is always excellent, and the waiters are invested in making the meal a fantastic experience. We have gone every year for 10 years, and it has never failed to be one of the highlights of our time in Aspen.... More

My friend and I went to Colorado for the first time. We went there with the purpose to do some snow shoeing in Aspen. The tour that we booked for the day was through ACES in coordination with this restaurant. I found the tour to be a lot of fun and probably the highlight of our trip. It was 3.5... More

A group of us cross country skied to the restaurant - some loved it and some did not enjoy the journey. The head lamps were fun to use and the tracks are perfectly groomed. It took us about 45 minutes and it was quite a work out. We were all way over dressed - you will sweat no matter what... More

If you do the skiing option, you really earn your dinner here! You hands down, cannot beat the scenery, skiing or riding around at 10k feet. Such a cool spot, you can make a whole day of it if you're looking for some time off the slopes. I showed my girlfriend through the Ashcroft ghost town (very cool that those... More

We brought a party of 23 to enjoy a Christmas Eve sleigh ride and dinner at Pine Creek Cookhouse. The sleigh ride was AMAZING--the cowboys that managed the horses and guided the sleigh were friendly and charismatic. We sang Christmas carols and enjoyed the beautiful view of the stars in the Colorado sky. It was truly magical! The reason for... More

We did the carriage ride and dinner at cook house and it was a beautiful trip and unique experience. We are very glad that we did it- however they lost one star for their service. Everyone there seemed to be annoyed or bothered to be working. My boyfriend and I ordered a nice bottle of wine and they tried to... More

We did the sleigh ride to the Cook House, and it was very enjoyable. The food and service at the restaurant were outstanding, the best we had during our time in Aspen. Expensive, but we'll worth it!
