Quite honestly, if the views weren't spectacular and the service wasn't as good as it was, I would probably rate this restaurant as terrible. The views were unbeatable as well as the service, however I had to send my meal back three times before my food came back the way I ordered it. Also, a member of my party found... More

For lunch at a quaint restaurant high in the mountains above Aspen this is the place. Getting here requires one to watch out for the many would be Tour de France " wanta bes" who fill the road going up and down. Once there the view is beautiful with flowers galore. It gets crowded between 11:45 and 12:30 so go... More

I hadn't been to Pine Creek Cookhouse in almost 20 years and it was as delicious now as it was back then. Not only is the food amazing, especially the SMOKED TROUT, but it is a true dining experience. The setting in the mountains is breathtaking. Pierce was so accommodating and found us the perfect table outside on the gorgeous... More

You cant beat lunch on the patio in the summer here. The food was good--the best part of our meal may have been the meat and cheese board (which had some of our favorite things!)

The setting and view are unbeatable, summer or winter. Wonderful outdoor area or cozy indoors for cool evenings or winter

You feel like you are in the middle of no where. It's such a beautiful place to visit and the food is very good also. Bring the kids becaue outside is lovely. However there are mosquitos so bring some repellant too.

Our previous forays to the Pine Creek Cookhouse were only in the winter via cross country skis AND before the restaurant was rebuilt perhaps eight years ago. It was rustic and cozy before - it's a different feel now, but it's also better. Given everyone's usual arrival on bikes, hiking boots or skis, the restroom situation is important and the... More

Who cares about the food, which was very tasty, when you have a world class view like this. Pine Creek Cookhouse is near the end of Castle Creek Road and is totally worth the drive. Besides you can see the ghost town of Ashcroft along this way, which this cookhouse used to be a part of. Great views all around... More

We found this restaurant after visiting the Ghost town. We ate outside on patio with good wine and excellent food. What a beautiful view!!!
