During our recent stay in Aspen for hiking, we so much loved the friendly yet well designed atmosphere, that we ate there twice. Superb kale salad for dinner and an overflowing cubano sandwich for lunch the following day. Super friendly staff and despite hearing comments from people in groups of five and six awaiting a table at dinner, we two... More

Ate here two days ago dinner, now lunch. French dip tastes great without dip. Kale salad also. Knowledgeable bar staff Brittany on wines. Haley was a pleasant waitress. Crispy chicken with Asian spicy slaw another delicious pick.

My girlfriend and I were in Aspen for a few days 10/20-10/22. We spotted this place on our first night and decided to return for dinner the next because of the amazing charm. The staff and food were great. The grouper sandwich was very good. They have the fish flown in daily. All this being said, our overall experience was... More

We stayed in Aspen four nights & are so glad we were able to eat at the White House Tavern on our last evening. The sandwich I ordered was their special, a pulled pork with slaw, avocado, thinly sliced tomato & a delicious thin & soft bread. It was such a huge sandwich, & other than offering my hubby a... Pat was amazing - made our experience! Made me the greatest dirty martini in the universe (believe me - I've done the research) and kept my husband and I laughing throughout dinner. The crispy chicken sandwich - out of this world and a great portion size anywhere, but especially in Aspen. Don't miss this place and ask for Pat!

We came here for lunch based on TripAdvisor reviews and we weren't disappointed. The hostess was friendly, our waiter was excellent, drinks were fantastic and food was nothing short of delicious. Everyone at our table got something different and they were all equally fantastic, from the deviled eggs to our salads. And while their specialty drinks seemed a tad on... More

We visited the Tuesday after summer "season" had officially ended and were surprised to find this little restaurant bustling like it was the height of season! The food was great the atmosphere causal and inviting. Service was perfect and the staff all very friendly. Our only complaint was "value".....I know this is Aspen and everything costs more and the location... More

Everything the three of us ordered was superb. I wanted to go back but there were too many other restaurants to explore. I would consider this a must in Aspen.

On our first night in Aspen, The White House was recommended by our hotel desk clerk. We ate there and so glad we followed the recommendation. There are a LOT of eating places in Aspen, but we visited during the off-season, and several places are closed for a month or so. Nevertheless, The White House was open, and wow, was... More
