All six of us had a very good meal.My husband ordered a Coconut Curry Red Snapper. It wasn't like normal coconut curry, but it was very good. A nicer restaurant, but not upscale according to American standards. They had a man singing and playing electric piano. Very nice atmosphere and meal.

I am so glad we went here. Our realtor, a waiter elsewhere and TripAdvisor recommended so we decided to try. Awesome and reasonable priced. Authentic local food. Give it a try.

Many locals recommended this and we were not disappointed. We split an entree and it was plenty. All fresh and local clean and a bit nicer than the food stands- not bathing suit appropriate need to wear some clothes but shorts tanks are fine. Delicious

My favorite grilled red snapper. It's close to the San Pedro Town Airport. If you want to grab a bite before the flight.

We went to a local place to try the Jerk Chicken everyone was raving about only to find they were sold out at the time, so I asked the owner where he would recommend, he didn't hesitate to give us directions to El Fogon. This is an upper scale restaurant on the island but the prices were reasonable and the... More

If you visit San Pedro you have to have at least 1 meal at El Fogon! There are a number of great dining options but this is traditional Belizian Fire Hearth cooking. The food was great and reasonably priced, the facility was clean, the ambiance was superb and the staff obviously took pride in making sure that you had a... More

El Fogon was a great spot! We went for a late-ish dinner. Tried seafood dishes and a local stew of gibnut! be daring. try it. it was very tasty! We drank Belikins with dinner and had a great time here. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. don't miss out on this restaurant while in San Pedro.
