We loved the food, friendly staff, and beautiful atmosphere at Cool Beans so much that we ate there three times during our week in San Pedro! My favorite was the fish tacos, which featured delicious snapper, fresh fruit, and an avocado crema sauce. My husband...loved his fish sandwich (snapper) that came topped with a pair of crispy onion rings. The restaurant is over the water and the local fish, rays, pelicans, magnificent frigatebirds, and laughing gulls provided entertainment while dining. The staff were lovely and we definitely recommend you check them out during your time on Ambergris Caye!More

This is a family owned restaurant right on the dock. EVERYTHING IS HOMEMADE. Including the bread! Suheidy was our server. She was so kind and lovely. Very knowledgeable about the ingredients. Karen is the chef and she really KNOWS how to make good quality food....You can she cooks from her heart! Ivan is the barista and he makes perfect mimosas. The atmosphere is peaceful and homey. The food is delicious. I only wish my stomach were bigger to enjoy more of the food! They open at 5:30am every day which is perfect for early birds. Perfect view with a SWING! Suheidy decorated the table we sat at for my birthday! And she made me homemade key lime pie which was THE BEST. She is the sweetest.More

We liked this place and really enjoyed talking with Ellias. He is a waiter and gave us a lot of good information about Secret Beach. My husband and I were contemplating riding bikes there and many told us not to, but we thought it was...doable and Ellias let us know that he and his work crew used to ride out there every day when they were working on a job. The shrimp ceviche at Cool Beans was delicious and we are glad we went there. We’d go again. Ask for Ellias - he’ll treat you right and is a kind person. :)More

Stumbled upon Cool Beans Café while on our way to the airport. It was Easter Friday so a lot of small food vendors and coffee houses were closed. I had an excellent Americano, but got a little stung by the cost of an extra espresso...shot, which came to almost the same as the full coffee order! Lovely spot over the ocean and an awesome way to enjoy a coffee and breakfast. We probably should have ordered some food as we were’t able to find a place before we hit the airport. I heard they have good food and the menu had lots of delicious options for breakfast and brunch.More

Cool Beans is a perfect pier place providing peachy personable service to every customer, Normally a lunch and cafe shop, we stopped by for their Wednesday evening sushi. Grabbed a few mocktails and dove into our orders. We had the sexy roll, cool beans roll...and one other I can’t remember but will show in the photo. 10/10 for a great refreshing early dinner experience.More

We went here for breakfast. Good food and good location. The place is positioned over the water and so the views are wonderful.

Oh my goodness! If you are in San Pedro you ABSOLUTELY need to go to Cool Beans. We came to this quant place on the water with four couples, they joyfully sat us as soon as our table was ready. They make almost everything from...scratch, bread, even the ketchup and their liquors! The experience was so amazing that we decided to try them for lunch another day (only two couples this time). Again, service was amazing and lunch was just as amazing as breakfast. The other two couples requested that we bring guacamole and salsa back to them. If we weren't a half hour golf cart ride away, I'm sure they would have asked us to bring half the menu back. Seriously, worth a stop at this family owned/family run restaurant. Family pride is service shines!More

Amazing spot for breakfast! We had the Belizean Breakfast, Waffles, Yogurt w/ Fruit & a Iced Coffee drinks - all great. You can see fish swimming in the water right off the dock as you eat breakfast. Elias (may be spelling wrong!) was great! Shady...too!More

Lovely location for breakfast but service was a bit disappointing. Food was average, the avocado toast was a bit thinly spread and coffee weak

Fantastic place! Beautiful spot right on the water and delicious food. Service is slow, just like everywhere in Belize. Better get used to it. But employees work really, really hard. Very kind people. Food is phenomenal. Absolutely worth it.

We came in town for my sister’s birthday and because of the rain, our original plan didn’t work out. We stumbled across this place in an effort to make the most of the day and it was the best choice we made! The service was...AMAZING! The drinks are strong and the food is really good. Some of the best hospitality I’ve experienced since being in San Pedro and the entire staff was amazing. Definitely would come back in a heartbeat! Make sure to ask for Ada, she is an angel!More
