We stopped at Caye Caulker as part of our day excursion. While our guides prepared our lunch from the fish we caught, we wandered to lazy lizard to try the famous drink and it didn’t disappoint! It was cool and refreshing with plenty of punch!...More
We loved getting here early in the day to watch the world pass by. The bucket beer specials were great deals. Also, the loaded chicken nachos were great! It's really the best place to Sun on the island.
Perfect beautiful outdoor seating for taking in the sunsets, hopping in the ocean, or even jumping off the diving dock. I loved the in-water tables and chairs. Karaoke every Friday night upstairs— check it out!

Cruise ships anchor just off the coast of Belize City. Passengers take a tender boat to the tourist village area of the city. There are tours leaving from the tourist village that can take you snorkeling on the reef off of Caye Caulker. They stop at The Lazy Lizard for lunch, swimming, sunning and frozen tropical drinks. The tour is listed on all the cruise ships as "Shore Excursion: Shark, Rays & Island Getaway" The boat ride is approximately 45-60mins, but it takes you through beautiful turquoise blue Caribbean water. Hope to have you as our guests :)

San Pedro Express has boats leaving from San Pedro at 7:30AM, 8:30AM, 10AM, and 11:30AM. Round trip tickets are $25US. The boats return to san pedro at 3:45PM, 4:45PM, 5:15PM and 6:15PM. You can see the full schedule by googling san pedro express schedule. Caye Caulker is not a cruise ship port. All ships anchor in Belize City. We do get a few small boats of cruise ship passengers on the island when cruise ships are in, but nothing "crazy." San Pedro is far more busier than Caye Caulker. Looking forward to having you as our guests :)
