The only thing that makes this place stand out is the location. Probably its the best place to drink, soak up the sun and jump in the water. The staff were just ok but thats ok because we tip depending on staffs personality and service. The happy hour drinks were good, but cant comment on food as we didnt eat... More

This bar is located at the Split and is a ton of fun! You can get buckets of beer and enjoy your drinks while floating in the ocean or relaxing on there white sandy beach! Oh and the conch ceviche was fresh and delicious! We met a lot of really nice people....locals and tourists and had a blast. We cannot... More

Finally made it to Caye Caulker and had to see the Lizard, still working on repair of the damage fro the storm but was not crowded and spent a few hours enjoying buckets of beer and cracked conch which was very good. Friendly waitress and nice views and a great way to spend a few hours.;

We went to "the Split" as we do on every visit to the island. They are in the process of renovating the Lazy Lizard after Hurricane Earl and so it was a bit loud and frenetic. But, more than that, the entire atmosphere has changed. Where this used to be a hangout for all ages, now it is geared towards... More

This bar is nice because it's right at the split between the north and south islands of caye caulker. Has a few games, all outdoor space. It's what you would imagine a bar would look like for very laid back spring breakers or college students with a few locals thrown in.

This is basically the only place to get into the water on the island that we knew of. The staff was not very friendly at all, but it was fun to jump in the water. We didnt eat here so i cant comment on that. Its the place to go for a day party and some tanning.

Went for lunch and had fish tacos. The fish was deep fried and rather dry. Overall the only reason to go is to say you have been there, unless you are young and want to hang out and have drinks that are a bit over priced.

This was my second time visiting the Lazy Lizard in the past year. Caye Caulker had a storm come through since my last visit, and the dock at the Lazy Lizard was destroyed. They rebuilt some of the dock, but there is still come rubble in the water. The water is deeper and the current stronger than you'd expect, so... More
