Caye Caulker was without power most of the day and Enjoy was one of the few joints with a generator serving food. I’ve been to CC 5 times now and for some reason just have never popped in to dine here but I got my chance last night. The poor wait staff and kitchen was being ran ragged due their sudden high popularity but everyone was friendly and the food was good (and also pretty cheap compared to other places on front street)! Their grilled chicken burger was a simple chicken sandwich but hit the spot Our Gang of Four shared a long picnic table with a handful of others. The cat kept us entertained during our wait

Seafood sharer

My girlfriend and I ordered the seafood sharer - 1x whole lobster, 1x whole snapper, 2x shrimp kebabs, veggies, coconut rice and 2x rum punch for $60BZ (£11 each!). Absolute bargain for the quality of food. Very tasty and cooked perfectly. Slow service but I think that's just the way the island is. Would return.

Amazing place to eat!

This looks like a small hole in the wall place at the front! Walking to the back, it's huge, and immensely popular for good reason! The food is excellent, well priced....we ate a combo for $45BZD, which included two huge steaks, and a slab of ribs, rice, fries, veg, and 4 rum punch drinks. Service was excellent, (ask for Mauricio!), and the servers were attentive without being intrusive. Next time I'm in Caye Caulker, we'll eat there often. It's clean, good ambiance, music was pleasant and not too loud.

Don't let the outside of the bar fool you! Delicious Tasty Food!

Saw the reviews and had to see this for myself! My husband got the fish burger with fries and I enjoyed my seafood jerk combo (spicy). They had levels of mild, medium, spicy, and very spicy. Spicy level was enough to exacerbate my heartburn (but hey, no pain, no gain, right?!) but was also so tantalizingly tasty! Great restaurant. It is also bigger than it seems as there was a very large party >20 that came in while we were leaving and they still had plenty of room.

Delicious food, great price

We came for the lunch specials, whole red snapper and jerk chicken - both were absolutely delicious! They grilled it fresh right in front of the restaurant, with plenty of yummy spices. They also gave a free rum punch with the meal which was an added bonus. In addition, I ordered the line juice and it was super refreshing, fresh squeezed lime (not the stuff from concentrate). Highly highly recommend, you can’t beat the quality of the food and service for the price!

We are here twice. During COVID many places are closed on the island, but these folks are hustling. The food is similar to many other places - whole lobster, fish fillers, coconut curries, etc. but good prices. Friendly, hardworking staff.

Good food & reasonable prices

We took the last ferry into Caye Caulker so we were cutting it close to curfew. Enjoy took us in, prepared our food, & we opted for to-go boxes so we would not be ticketed nor the restaurant due to COVID curfew restrictions. Enjoy was extremely kind, accommodating, and the food was delicious.

STOP EVERYTHING AND COME HERE

The food here is absolutely banging! The pork ribs and bbq chicken are so good they make wanna slap your momma! We came right before the lobster season which starts July 1 but let me tell you when I say I was not disappointed. We had the combo dinner with pork ribs, bbq chicken, and TBone steak (most delicious in that order). That paired with the coconut rice, coleslaw, garlic break and the 6 rum punch’s for only $62 (belizian dollars). The staff was super friendly and chatted/joked with us the entire time we were here. A must if your hungry in caye caulker!

greatly anticipated given the reviews but nothing stood out here. we had the grilled whole snapper and the shrimp coconut curry. portions were not huge as reported unless you are talking about the rice and cabbage portions. food was tasty. price was $44 bzd+tip which does not make it a $cheap eats in my books. we prefer reinas or ana's or chef jean's. also the music was too loud which drove away an older group from staying.

Do yourself a favour go someplace else

The only good thing about this place is the location. The bar had margaritas on special, but no tequila, watered down replacement mojitos not worth the price, Barracuda on special, fresh caught that was over cooked, plain rice claiming to be coconut, soggy vegetables, and grilled snapper that was done to a nice charcoal end. 🤢 Also the bill included an undeserved 10% tip, which I did not pay as the bartender spent all her time taking to her boyfriend instead of doing her job. So many better options for great food at less price on the island - give this one a pass.

Our Favorite Place

My husband and I had dinner at Enjoy the first night we were there. The staff was amazing and very friendly. The service was great! The ceviche was served while the lobster was still warm - great flavor! The grilled snapper was also very tasty and fresh - it was served with garlic bread and a baked potato. It was delicious. They also had live music every night. we stopped in for music and drinks every night we were there. It was spacious and very airy! We loved it!

Great food and awesome experience

My husband and I were walking down Main Street when this person asked us to eat at his place. We agreed and found ourselves inside of Enjoy Bar and Restaurant. The place has swings for bar stools in the bar, dirt floors (common here), no AC(not needed) and super friendly service. The food is all cooked (actually grilled) when you order it and extremely delicious.

This place has had the best service so far. Caye Caulker is not necessarily the fastest service in general anywhere but the Island motto is Go Slow” so there you have it. We had the lobster ceviche, grilled lobster and salad. Portions on the sides were generous and it was one of the best values for the $ spent. Staff went above and beyond making sure everything was ok. Highly recommend the stop and food.

Get the curry shrimp

Great seafood. We ordered 5 different meals and they were all very good. This place is known for their seafood. I had the curry shrimp and would rate it excellent. The service for food was a little slow but the bartender kept our drinks full at all times. The prices were responsible here compared to other places that charge American prices.

Why is my drink cup empty for so long?

The 2 times I went there with friends I could not even get consistent service. It's over 30 minutes between ordering a drink and finding the waitress to even check on the status of our drinks. ZERO customer service skills and both times I dealt with the same waitress.
