Lovely cold drinks and amazing freshly baked cookies. Enjoyed the bakes so much. Don’t know how the staff manage to work in the incredible heat but I’m really glad they do. The smell of those cookies, yum!
Stopped later in the day especially for chocolate croissants and sold out. 2nd attempt another day, but again later in the day and we scored the last 2. Had them warmed and ate on the spot! $2.50 BZ each. Took a pineapple and chocolate pastry...to go. Also $2.50 BZ. Hubby and I both agreed that was even better! Sooo many different choices and NOT all desserts and NOT all bkst options. Several options which would be good options to toss in a back pack for an active day on the go!More
Loaded up on sausage croissants for a quick lunch to go, but came back for their awesome cinnamon rolls! SOOO delicious and so reasonably priced. Smoothie bar was awesome too! Right across the street from the market.
Stopped in for a quick snack while exploring the town. Got a ham & cheese croissant and I believe my husband had the coconut croissant. They were both just ok. The pastry itself was kind of soggy? It wasn't really the typical flaky, light pastry...you'd expect. But it was cheap and fine for a quick snack!More
We really liked this bakery as the bread was much more like home. The sandwiches and cinnamon bun was excellant. Our friends had a milk shake that looked amazing.
Plus one of the staff was so helpful in giving us directions to find places in...the downtown. He really went the extra mile searching things out on his phone.More
Bakeries are known for the aroma cast into the neighborhood. This bakery has a pleasant atmosphere where tourist and local migrate to enjoy a morning coffee or afternoon drink with a dessert. Their breads are prepared daily.
Tired of the typical cooked Belizean breakfast or hotel cereal? This is a good change of pace. Just add some fresh local fruit from the farmer’s market across the street. Good sweet pastries and stuffed pasties which we took as ‘packed lunch’ on the days’...adventures.More
