The Pickled Parrot is a thatched roof restaurant and bar mere footsteps from the crashing surf of the Carribean. We have delicious blender drinks, rum concoctions and ice cold Belikin Beer. Our food is home cooked style comfort food, made from fresh organic ingredients. We specialize in hand-cut french fries, burgers, chicken cheesesteaks, turkey clubs, and grilled ham sandwiches . Our popular everyday option is a fresh large salad topped with shrimp, chicken breast or ribeye steak. Special diets are easily accomodated. Portions are ample and prices are low. $5 US specials every night, local musicians (no cover), friendly place. Last night one of the local residents was passing out delicious carrot cake to all the customers (the best carrot cake I’ve ever had!). Highly recommend for an entertaining evening!

They offer a daily special for 15 belizian dollars which is such a inexpensive way to eat. My husband had the fish and I enjoyed the chicken wrap. The rum punch is wonderful and a good price at 6 belizian dollars. Plus their dog is adorable!!

Go for the drinks, not for the food. We stopped in our first night for some appetizers and drinks and the fries were swimming in oil and the other food was just okay, but the drinks are awesome and we went back twice more during our 8 days for drinks! The owner and the staff are super friendly and you feel like family when you walk down the sidewalk and they know you and wave each time. Did I mention they have great, very reasonable drinks?!

This quaint restaurant/bar is located on a side path. My daughter & I walked past it several times before stopping. We were going to have lunch but the menu was mostly American bar food. We didn't come to Belize to eat what we could get at home. We decided to try Belikan (Belizean beer) so we ordered that with chips & salsa. The chips were not good- they tasted like warm doritos! Also, it's cash only. We were disappointed.

Great atmosphere with super adult beverages. Highly recommend the wings (great spice) and cheese sticks. The spaghetti was okay but not great. For alcohols drinkers, try the Parrot Piss!

We had the stir fry chicken. I don’t know what kind of magic they put in their pots but it was SOOO GOOD... I mean it was just stir fry but geez... 😊 The community dogs lounging around were great too.

This is a lovely bar owned by a friendly ExPat with a *phenomenal* staff (Anifa is darling and friendly). We are from Michigan and were hoping to watch the Rose Bowl- but because of the holiday, most places weren’t opened. But the Pickled Parrot showed UP! Good bar food selection- and GREAT jalapeño poppers. Dog friendly and VERY chill. Located right off the Main Street and just a quick jaunt off the Main Walk. Plan ahead: cash only.

This is a good bar to hang out at. The food is OK - American style. The beer is cold. Cash only. Dog friendly. A good place to watch sports probably.

It’s a wonderful tropical themed grass roof, open air bar and restaurant. We had great live music, good food and ice cold beer and drinks, combined with a friendly staff made for a great night!
