Not only was the food delicious, the view is gorgeous and there was even a group of young, talented drummers that was there while we ate and drank. Asha is welcoming to all visitors; I would go back in a heartbeat!

We went to Asha's Culture Kitchen for our Grooms Dinner and had such a blast. Working with Asha and Stacy from the start was so easy and fun. They made planning this party from abroad (we live in the States and come to Belize to get married) so easy and simple. The food was delicious (our friends are still talking... More

My husband and I stopped here for lunch and were pleasantly surprised to walk along a short path to find a delightful "wharf style" restaurant. Situated right over the water's edge, it is rustic and simple but nicely done. We had fresh fish caught that morning, garlic mashed pumpkin, coleslaw with callaloo with a hint of coconut. It was all... More

A group of us took a sailing trip and had the pleasure of staying the night in this cute town. A local Belizean recommended we go to Asha's Culture Kitchen for dinner. Upon arrival they greeted us with open arms. The restaurant was right on the water and was decorated with local art & very clean. I had the bbq... More

My wife and I had our wedding celebration here. We had around 80 people at Asha's and we could not have had a better time. We had been working with Asha and Stacy for the better part of the past year in planning this event, and both Asha and Stacy were super accommodating, friendly, professional, and just on point with... If you are staying in Punta Gorda, eating at Asha's is a must. I was there with my sister in February and we had a most unforgettable dinner in a relaxed atmosphere complimented by a friendly staff.

The tastiest seafood you will find anywhere in a place situated over the ocean on the main path in Punta Gorda. O, and excellent live music while you eat. Try the Cassava Cake.

Description
Top quality seafood and barbeque in Punta Gorda. Relax at the only restaurant and bar around that is completely over the sea. Fresh meals are cooked to order with sustainably caught seafood; fish are often caught by Asha (the owner/head chef) himself. Our kitchen serves hearty dishes prepared with healthy ingredients.

Listen to various styles of live music – including Creole and Garifuna drumming, Mayan marimba, and international performances – all while enjoying the Caribbean sea breeze with a view of the Guatemala highlands from across the bay.

Exceptional service and competitive prices. Business practices are very environmentally friendly.

We cater to all needs; including large groups, food delivery, and a variety of events. Please call ahead for large groups, to-go orders, directions, or our music schedule.

Marine tours, sustainable-fishing classes, sunset-booze cruises, and cooking lessons are available.
